For a while now democrats have been walking down the road toward self-destruction but more recently they have taken a left turn down the steep slippery bank to perdition. On July 4, normally a happy day full of pride democrats led off with a downer:

“Everywhere we look, our most fundamental values are under attack. Thousands of children have been separated from their parents at our southern border. At our highest court, workers’ rights are being taken away, voting rights are under assault, Muslim Americans are being discriminated against for their faith, and women’s right to choose is under threat like never before.

I guess as Tom Perez and Keith Ellison are minding the store this ought not be surprising. But the DNC has turned over a truly ugly leaf. Values? Let’s see what democrats mean by values.

In the face of a booming economy they find nothing but grief. Liberals have sunk so low that they now hate-target St. Jude’s for accepting a $16 million donation from Eric Trump.

Steve Bannon walks into a bookstore and a woman calls him a “piece of trash.”

The bookstore owner asked her to leave:

“We are a bookshop. Bookshops are all about ideas and tolerating different opinions and not about verbally assaulting somebody, which is what was happening,” Cooke said.

He had to call 911 before she finally took off. In less time than it takes to offend a liberal, former hillary ass kisser Phillipe Reines doxxes the store owner:

Former Hillary Clinton adviser Philippe Reines on Saturday posted the address and contact information of a Virginia bookstore on Twitter after the storeowner called the police on a customer who insisted on harassing former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon.

Richmond, Virginia bookstore owner Nick Cooke called the police on Saturday after a woman verbally accosted Bannon and then refused to leave the store, Cooke said. The woman reportedly called Bannon a “piece of trash” before Cooke asked her to leave.

Minding his own business eating at a restaurant Scott Pruitt was verbally assaulted by a teacher:

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt became the most recent Trump administration figure to get an earful while trying to get a mouthful at a DC restaurant, according to a Facebook posting Monday.

Teacher Kristin Mink was shown approaching Pruitt as he chowed down with a pal at the Teaism restaurant Monday, four blocks from his office at the EPA’s headquarters.

“I just wanted to urge you to resign, because of what you’re doing to the environment in our country,” Mink said, holding her two-year-old son and a notepad, as her husband recorded the encounter.

Steven Miller was the recipient of liberal courtesy:

Miller, a former Senate aide who has had a leading role in the administration’s immigration policies, told colleagues he had been insulted after picking up $80 in sushi from a restaurant near his downtown apartment.

Miller reportedly said that a bartender followed him onto the street, before shouting his name.

Miller said the bartender then raised both middle fingers toward him and cursed at him. The Post reports that Miller told co-workers that he became so outraged that he threw the sushi away.

Trump aides are routinely being harassed and assaulted.

Mitch McConnell was stalked and threatened by anti-ICE mob:

In the video, a motley crew of “Walking Dead” rejects stalk and threaten McConnell as he leaves a restaurant and walks to his car with local politician Jonathan Shell.

“We know where you live, Mitch! We know where you live!” one man shouted. Others yelled, “Abolish ICE!” and “Where are the babies, Mitch?”

This was their excuse

The Louisville chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America justified its stalking of a 76-year-old man on Twitter, saying: “Cowards like Mitch McConnell run from people peacefully assembled to hold him accountable, but those who enable monstrous policies will always find protesters outside their homes, offices, and restaurants.”

The Times News reports Pamela Downs tried to use a counterfeit $5 bill at a local grocery store in Kingsport, Tennessee, on Sunday.

Police say that counterfeit bill was printed on computer paper and that each side had been glued together.

According to the Times News, Downs told the officer she received the money from a gas station a few days prior, but that she never inspected the bill.

Police then searched Downs’ purse and found a $100 bill which was also counterfeit. The Times News reports the bill was printed in black and white and that the back of the bill was printed upside down.

Police also found a receipt for a printer and copy paper in her purse.

“I don’t give a ****, all these other b****** get to print money, so I can too,” she reportedly told police when she was arrested.

The Times News reports that when Downs was at the jail, she told officers that she read online Obama created a law that permitted her to print her own money because she’s on a fixed income.

When officers searched her apartment, they found counterfeit bills totaling between $30,000 to $50,000.

Downs has been charged with criminal simulation and counterfeiting.

5% of America approves of Congress. That means 95% of Americans disapprove of Congress. This writer posits that 5% approval essentially amounts to the friends and family members of elected officials, Government employees and Military personnel under orders to support the government. (Funny if not so sad) This writer trusts all agree that 95% disapproval requires that the majority of the rank and file members of both the alleged Republican and alleged Democrat Party disapprove of Congress. Despite this, our Provdaesque Major Media insists on running with the spin that it’s the alleged Republican Party that is in trouble?

In Closing:

Thank you, my fellow citizens, for taking your valuable time to read and reflect upon what is written here.

If what is written here rings true to you, perhaps you should contact
your local elected officials and let them know. If you are afraid of
repercussions, snail mail it anonymously and ask them to respond in the
local paper or their own monthly/quarterly internet newsletter. Even if
this article refers to something outside you geographic area, it still
likely applies to your location. Remember all those taxpayer training
junkets we taxpayers send the bureaucrats on? They all learn the same
“livestock management” techniques to use on WE THE PEOPLE.

And that leaves WE THE PEOPLE with this conundrum: While our
#Government works full time with compensation and funded with our money
for the cause of #Tyranny; WE THE PEOPLE are forced to work part time
without compensation for the cause of #liberty with what is left over of
our time, money and energy.
Finally, this article is written with the same intentions as Thomas Paine http://ushistory.org/paine. I seek no leadership role. I seek only to help the American People find their own way using their own “Common Sense” http://amzn.to/kbRuar

Recently the headlines have been filled with demands from fast food
employees for wage increases. In loose affiliation with the Occupy
Movement, these employees have demanded wage increases nearly double
their current wages.

As an adherent to Natural Law, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, this writer by Text-Enhance"">supports
their right to request/demand such an increase. Yet, as an adherent to
free markets, this writer’s initial impression was that this segment of
the free market cannot sustain a doubling in the wages of fast food
employees, such as McDonald’s workers and the Occupy Moment. And from
this perspective this writer was on the verge of dismissing this
exercise in free market forces as a moot point.

The Usual Suspects

However, upon deeper reflection this writer has developed a new
perspective on these wage demand developments. To facilitate his point,
this writer has delayed writing this analysis article to allow major
media to trot out the status quo usual suspects: Evil, duplicitous
business vs. the naïve, downtrodden labor force. In trotting out the
usual suspects, major media helps sustain and reinforce the status quo.
Said status quo being the false left/right 2 major political party
paradigm. And now, with major media committed to its storyline, this
writer will reveal the truth the 2 major parties and major media tries
so hard to hide and bury.
As this writer’s regular readers are aware, this writer often
assesses issues from original perspectives, refusing to be locked into
the false left/right political
paradigm and traditional 2 major political party dogma. This is one
of those articles that will shatter most American’s false left/right
perception of reality. In so doing, it is this writer’s hope that this
allows WE THE PEOPLE to further advance our peaceful revolution to
restore Natural Law, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and retake
our country while restoring true free markets and fundamental economic
fairness.

What is fair?

Can we agree that in this, the greatest nation in earth, our policies
should be reflect an intention that all hard working, dependable, rank
and file Americans who work for hourly wages generally should not see
an erosion in their standard of living. (Unless of course, non
machinated market forces are the cause. For instance, industries in
decline. As examples, buggy whip makers and, more recently, traditional
photography processors.) This writer takes the position that the demand
for the products of the fast food industry is not in decline.

With that premise, let us assess the Purchasing by Text-Enhance"">power of the dollar verses wage increases for fast food workers from 2002 to 2012.

From 2002 to 2012 the purchasing power of the US Dollar decreased 27.6 percent. (http://www.usinflationcalculator.com)

Establishing the amount of wage increases for McDonald's workers
during this same period of time is not as easily done. (Much thanks to
the Monticello, MN Library) First, the Bureau of Labor Statistics
resists giving up these numbers. To sure, they point to some
complicated tables that would take weeks to find the data within, and
then make the calculations to arrive at these numbers for some
occupations. But, as near as I can tell, they do not specifically track
the fast food industry in terms of labor. The nearest this writer could
come was Mean Annual Wages for fast food cooks from 2002 to 2012.
(However, this writer believes that the increase in fast food cook wages
will roughly approximate the wage increases for all fast food hourly
laborers)

In 2002 the mean annual wage for fast food cooks was $14,930.00
In 2012 the mean annual wage for fast food cooks was $18,780.00

This was an increase of 25.79 percent

These numbers represent a decrease in purchasing power for fast food cooks of 1.81 percent (Almost 2%) over 10 years.
When individuals are already at or near subsistence level, 2% isn’t
giving up your annual travel vacation. At these wage levels 2% is giving
up, for example, a gallon of milk each week that your children should
have.

Clearly, the standard of living for America’s fast food cooks has
declined by almost by 2% in the 10 years from 2002 to 2012. Clearly,
wages did not increase enough for employees to maintain their standard
of living. The question is whether or not this decrease in purchasing
power was the result of non-machinated
free market forces or the result
of the amoral, unethical and/or unlawful machinations?

Now it would be easy to jump into that false left/right 2 party dogma
paradigm and declare US business (for our purposes McDonald’s) the bad
guys and McDonald’s employees as the victims, and proceed to vote in the
next election accordingly. But is McDonald’s really the consummate bad
guy in this free market play?
While this writer is not going to try to place the mantle of
Sainthood upon the founder’s, owners, managers and shareholder’s of
McDonald’s neither does this writer believe these just identified folks
bear the majority of the responsibility for the declining standard of
living of McDonald’s hourly wage employees.
Let us begin with this empirical observation and fundamental premise:

All Value Comes From Labor!

If the hole isn’t dug, the bricks aren’t laid, the plumbing isn’t
plumbed, the wiring isn’t installed, the wheat is not sown, the cows are
not fed, the product is not delivered, the burgers are not fried, and
the fries are not salted; the founders, owners and shareholders of
McDonald’s have nothing and get nothing. It is that simple. All value
comes from labor.

In our society, the US dollar is the form and measure of value. And
McDonald’s founders, owners & shareholders use the value they
receive in the form of dollars to pay their employees, pay their
vendors, pay their taxes and what is left over is theirs to keep.

In a true free market system, the founders, owners, shareholders and
investors in McDonald’s are entitled to their profit. Why? Because they
hazarded the risk of beginning the business, they are entitled to the
reward. While McDonald’s is now clearly profitable, when first founded
it could have just as likely failed as succeeded. Before the age of
dubious bank bailouts, in the event of financial failure the founder’s
of McDonald's (any business) would have lost their investment in time and
money, period.

The reward of profit is the incentive for entrepreneurs to take
risks. And those that hazard the risk are entitled to the rewards of
success. [For those of you who refuse to free yourselves from the false
left/right 2 party dogma and believe the founders of McDonald's are not
entitled to their profit this writer puts the following to you… “How
happy would you be if you did not have a job because the founder’s of
McDonald's never hazarded the risk of starting the McDonald’s
franchise?”]

Taking Value from Labor

Before we go further, this writer asks you McDonald’s employees
and/or other fast food employees to pull out your last paycheck
(electronic payment statement) and take a look at it. Look at the gross
amount and look at the actual amount of your check.

You employer is not stealing the difference from your gross and net
paycheck from you. Your employer is being forced into the role of the
Sheriff of Nottingham. Your employer is being forced to be a tax
collector. In this manner, your government diverts the scorn from taking
value your labor produced from government to your employer.
Nevertheless your government still gets to take some of the value your
labor produced.

Your government knows that if you were forced to write an actual
check to the government, you would be far more scrutinizing of where
that money went and resentful of the elected officials who took that
value from you. And now you have a basic understanding of the types of
smoke and mirrors your government uses to take from you a portion of the
value your labor produces.

But that is just the tip of the iceberg.

Did you know that when this country was founded, far fewer sources of
income were considered taxes for the purposes of taxation? At the
founding of this country, in most instances your wages that you receive
for your labors at McDonald's would not have been considered taxable by
the Federal government.

“None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free” – Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe.

This article is going to show you how people who produce little
and/or no value somehow have taken value from all of us who produce
value through our labor.

Privately owned Federal Reserve System Bank

"It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand
our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would
be a revolution before tomorrow morning." - Henry Ford

Our current central bank was established by the Federal Reserve
System act of 1913 under Progressive President Woodrow Wilson. The
stated purpose for authorizing the current iteration of the central bank
known as the Federal Reserve System was to stabilize our economy and
monetary system.
How have they done? Stock Market Crash 1929, Great Depression of the
1930s, Stagflation of the 1970s, Real Estate and Stock Market Crash of
2008, 2nd Great Depression of 2008 to 2013 and continuing and growing
rolls of persons on food stamps, etc. This writer’s assessment is that
the FED has sucked at achieving its goal of stabilizing the US economy
and monetary system. Even as you read this, Russia and China are
pushing proposals to replace the US Dollar as the World Reserve Currency
because the FED has so badly mismanaged it. (You need to ask someone
else how bad the replacement of the US Dollar as the World Reserve
Currency would affect your Standard of Living – It would be too long and
distract from the thrust of this article)

Quantitative Easing for Dummies

Now, for this extremely poor alleged attempt by the FED to stabilize
the US economy and monetary system, WE THE PEOPLE pay the private owners
of the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank $25 Billion per year as a
return on their initial capitalization of the bank in 1913. (Take a
moment to pause and think about that $25 billion dollars per year that
you pay the FED. Between Congress, the President, the VP, the Supreme
Court and the Cabinet about 540 people run the USA. The FED can afford
to give each of them a $1 million per year and still have more than
$24.4 billion per year left over. Do you think the FED has the power to
corrupt the USA political system? Do you think our Congress acts in the
best interest of WE THE PEOPLE or the FED?)

And the private owners (and their operatives) of the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank will shoot back,...
Thank you, my fellow citizens, for taking your valuable time to read and reflect upon what is written here.

If what is written here rings true to you, perhaps another helpful
exercise would be to ponder why you have not heard about this in your
local paper or in the major media. [You may find articles about issues
from this writer's local area posted in your area and wonder why. The
reason is this: Remember those travel junkets taxpayers pay for (the
ones the bureaucrats skip to go to the beach or the casino) but
allegedly used for training? Well some government apparatchiks actually
attend those training seminars. And learn nationally en-mass techniques
to "manage" WE THE PEOPLE. Since they all receive similar training in
oppression, it is likely the problems you are experiencing with
government in your area are similar to the problems in your area (unless
you live outside the USA). With that commonality in mind, it is this
writer's intent that insight garnered from this writer articles about
his local issues can be used by the reader to understand and applied to
their local issues.]

Now here is another story, and a clip from it.

In addition to the adverse health effects from particulate matter pollution, coal-fired power plants also emit significant quantities of carbon dioxide. The CATF notes, "It is now well established in climate science that CO2 emissions globally must stop, by the middle of this century, to avoid the worst cataclysms of global warming."

Now my reason for bringing this up is the carbon tax that is emanate, information on this can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon_tax

If so it seems to me if the carbon tax is passed then the federal government would also be liable to pay a carbon tax on this 400 hundred sq. mile area that is admitting huge amounts of carbon dioxide for possibly the next 250 yrs.

As early as Wednesday, President Obama could issue an executive order granting the federal government expansive and unprecedented power over one of the few remaining outposts of uncensored information — the Internet.

Various news agencies are reporting that a cybersecurity executive order has been drafted and will be issued by the president this week. A story on NextWeb indicates that the president will address the issue (and announce the executive order) in Tuesday’s State of the Union address.

Bloomberg adds credibility to the speculation, quoting “two former White House officials briefed on the administration’s plans” who corroborate the Wednesday release date for the executive order.

The Wall Street Journal reports that unnamed White House officials disclosed that the order will indeed be issued Wednesday and that it “would create a federal-government led group to work with the private sector to create and implement voluntary standards for companies running critical infrastructure. It would also take additional measures to improve information sharing and bolster cybersecurity through current regulatory authorities.”

Voluntary is a word — like so many others — that doesn’t have the same meaning in Washington, D.C., as it does in the rest of the country.

Given the the federal government’s penchant for vague language, however, it is likely that despite the denial of compulsory cooperation with the government there will be a loophole just large enough to force through a requirement of corporate cooperation with the intelligence agencies of the Obama administration.

According to information obtained by The New American, the executive order will resemble in almost every detail a cybersecurity bill that will be introduced to Congress on Wednesday.

That bill, as reported by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), will empower the “National Security Agency (NSA) and the military to collect your private internet records.” All in the name of national security, of course.

The measure that will be offered in the House of Representatives on Wednesday will be nothing less than a resurrection of the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA), that was passed by the House in April of last year.

According to The Hill, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) and ranking member Representative Dutch Ruppersberger (D-Md.) will re-introduce an unamended CISPA this week during a speech at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C.

That bill, H.R. 3523, established an exemption to all privacy laws allowing companies to transmit private user/subscriber information with other companies and with the government for the purpose of protecting cybersecurity. In exchange for their compliance with the “voluntary” delivery of users’ private data to the NSA and Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the federal government will shield participating companies for any liability stemming from challenges to the government’s use of the electronic communication of its customers.

The AP reported last October that “selected employees at critical infrastructure companies would receive security clearances allowing them to receive the information.”

CISPA is yet another example of the cooperation between industry and government that threatens to squeeze the life out of the Constitution and place every actual and virtual activity of every American under the constant surveillance of government.

There is a curb on that power, however. CISPA mandates that the government may use the information it obtains only for “lawful purposes,” defined in the bill as preventing anything that could potentially threaten the nation’s national or Internet security.

There is no time limit on this power and the only oversight will be an annual audit by the inspector general of the federal intelligence community.

Despite these extraordinary and chilling abridgments of the Fourth Amendment, there is broad bipartisan support for CISPA, despite its unpopularity outside the Beltway. As The New American reported after the House passage last year, “Passage in the House was assured with more than 70 percent of those supported by the Tea Party voting for it.”

When the measure moved to the Senate it was voted down and President Obama threatened to veto it. That could be, of course, because the White House preferred to set the boundaries of the authority to monitor the traffic on the Internet.

President Obama has consistently added one document after another to his bulging dossier of dictatorship.

As early as last fall, President Obama began work on the fiat that will, according to a draft of the executive order obtained by the Associated Press, order “U.S. spy agencies to share the latest intelligence about cyberthreats with companies operating electric grids, water plants, railroads and other vital industries to help protect them from electronic attacks.”

For some time, government officials have insisted that Iran is planning a cyberattack on the electronic communications infrastructure of the United States. The AP reports that Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said that the U.S. armed forces are “ready to retaliate” should Iran — or any other country — attempt an attack on U.S. cybersecurity.

Those reports as well as recent allegations of Chinese cyberattacks against the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and the Washington Post, and attacks by Anonymous on the Federal Reserve’s cyberstructure have given the president the threats of a “cyber 9/11” that he needs to justify his issuing of an edict with all the unconstitutional assaults on civil liberty of a “cyber Patriot Act.”

President Obama’s administration has been prepping members of Congress for some time on their irrelevance in the upcoming electronic information monitoring scheme.

In a hearing held last September before the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano testified that assuming control of the nation’s Internet infrastructure is a DHS responsibility.

“DHS is the Federal government’s lead agency for securing civilian government computer systems and works with our industry and Federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial government partners to secure critical infrastructure and information systems,” she informed senators.

Napolitano’s report on the role of DHS squares with the information revealed in the seven-page version of the executive order obtained last year by the AP. According to the report of their findings:

The draft order would put the Department of Homeland Security in charge of organizing an information-sharing network that rapidly distributes sanitized summaries of top-secret intelligence reports about known cyberthreats that identify a specific target. With these warnings, known as tear lines, the owners and operators of essential U.S. businesses would be better able to block potential attackers from gaining access to their computer systems.

The president’s de facto re-routing of all Internet traffic through federal intelligence officers deputizes more than just DHS as cybertraffic cops. The AP reports that “the Pentagon, the National Security Agency (NSA), the director of national intelligence, and the Justice Department” will all cooperate in the surveillance — again, the same agencies whose powers were either created or expanded in the Patriot Act.

Despite the anticipated similarities between CISPA, the Patriot Act, and President Obama’s forthcoming cybersecurity executive order, there is one very significant difference. Legislation can be repealed. Constituents can unite and threaten the reelection hopes of lawmakers who vote for such a bill.

An executive order, on the other hand, is unassailable, and the president — particularly one in his final term — is beyond accountability for the edicts he hands down and for the irreparable harm they might do to civil liberties and to the Constitution that protects them.

So.. what's your thoughts?

In 2009 a question about marijuana legalization made him laugh , a hard to miss sign that he didn’t take the issue seriously. Worse than laughter has been his DEA, and its increasingly heavy-handed war on legal marijuana dispensaries. Now that recreational marijuana has been legalized in Colorado and Washington, his Department of Justice is weighing its options , and, reportedly, none of their options seem to be “just let people smoke their marijuana, because it’s harmless.”

Instead the feds are either looking to have a judge declare the state regulations invalid, or are out to browbeat states into recriminalizing the demon weed by withholding federal money. ( A similar strategy got the drinking age raised to 21 in every state, though it required legislation.)
