A man and woman both grabbed their personal weapons and fired shots during a deadly home invasion in Arlington
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A home invasion robbery attempt in Arlington turned deadly early Friday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
JSO Homicide Sergeant Michael Paul said 21-year-old Marquise Trevel Yates entered a residence located in the 800 block of Seabrook Cove Road around 6:30 a.m. through what they believe was the homeowner's backdoor.
The homeowners, a man and a woman, heard a disturbance and came out to investigate. JSO says that's when Yates then tried to rob them at gunpoint. The male homeowner confronted Yates and a fight started.
