A care worker who stabbed her older sister to death and cut off her hand is facing a life sentence.

Sabah Khan, 27, cut the throat of mother-of-four Saima Khan, 34, while the victim's children were sleeping upstairs at the family home in Luton.

At the time of the savage attack other members of the family were at a local mosque attending a funeral.

Saima Khan, who was also a care worker, moved to England from Holland lived with parents, sister and taxi-driver husband Hafeez Rehman and was described by neighbours as a 'quiet but friendly lady'.
