Three million infants die yearly worldwide from influenza, and nobody calls for most businesses to shut down. Wuhan and Northern Italy suffer from abject air pollution, and have for decades. High percentage of male smokers in China. Italy's population is aged. Most dead in Italy have two or three other diseases that compromise their general health. The numbers worldwide DO NOT justify shutting down the global economy, or the economy in any country. It's saying it's worth it to sacrifice hundreds of millions or billions (by starvation and / or lack of medical care, etc) if we can save tens or hundreds of thousands from the flu. It's insane.
