‘Moon Matrix’ And you thought David Icke was strange talking about reptiles...

I was just checking to see what Icke was up to and saw he has a new book coming out. So I started to read what it was about and ... had to stop and .... wonder if he had just taken a jump off a mental cliff??

Quote from DavidIcke.com a description of his new book.

"His most staggering revelation is that the Earth and the collective human mind is manipulated from the Moon, which, he says, is not a ‘heavenly body’, but an artificial construct – a gigantic ‘spacecraft’ (probably a hollowed-out 'planetoid') – which is home to the extraterrestrial group that has been manipulating humanity for aeons.

He describes what he calls the ‘Moon Matrix’, a fake reality broadcast from the Moon which is decoded by the human body/mind in much the same way as portrayed in the Matrix movie trilogy. The Moon Matrix has ‘hacked’ into the human ‘body-computer’ system, he says, and it is feeding us a manipulated sense of self and the world 24/7.

We live in extraordinary times. On one side we are seeing the imposition of a global Orwellian State of total surveillance and control by those who serve the Moon Matrix, and on the other a fantastic energetic transformation is taking place – what David calls the ‘Truth Vibrations’, a phenomenon he first predicted in 1990 and used as the title of his first book after his ‘eyes opened’."

You can see this page here Now I ignored the reptile stuff and postponed judgment but now I just got smacked in the face with this I guess you would call this a conspiracy theory but calling it a conspiracy theory gives conspiracy theory's a bad name.

The Moon a "a gigantic ‘spacecraft’ (probably a hollowed-out 'planetoid')" ... "home to the extraterrestrial group that has been manipulating humanity for aeons." DEAR GOD WTF!!! I hope Icke is being metaphorical?? I hope ... I really hope hes not asserting this as truth?

I remember a movie about a TV station that was controlling the human population ... "They Live"? right? and the main character destroys that station and the people return to normal.

I'm taken aback at the shear magnitude of this assertion that the moon is an alien spacecraft controlling human kind. Its so absurd but I'm very very intrigued to hear how this man will defend his new theory. I'll have to buy some extra butter popcorn and a 12 pack of good beer for that event.

The Greatest Weapon Ever Devised To Defeat The NWO, Deflationtag:12160.info,2018-05-26:2649739:BlogPost:6241252018-05-26T07:03:25.000ZTheLasersShadowhttps://12160.info/profile/TheLasersShadow

Yes DEFLATION! The opposite of inflation and I'm not making a joke here. Every corrupt bank and government entity would be wiped out by deflation. It would also wipe out all debt held by the public, not a bad thing at all if you understand free market economics.

There are bills right now in the works that will change the metals that make up our nickels. Currently they are 75% copper and 25% nickel, when this bill passes the new coins will as worthless as paper bills.

Right now you can walk into almost any bank and hand them a dollar bill and get 20, 0.0685cent coins..... your making 37cents PER DOLLAR you change into nickels! YES NO JOKE!

I in no way am telling you to melt these down, that would be dumb as well as illegal. Really just store them as is for barter later on when the dollar crashes. This is almost like being given a chance to go back in time and buy silver dimes, quarters and half dollars!! I'll bet you 10 years from now the copper and nickel will be worth many times the face value depending on how bad the dollar crashes. These are hedges against inflation just like silver or gold. Whats great is your getting the copper / nickel coins below spot!

Every time you go to the bank put a part of your check into nickels, TRUST ME you will thank me later. These coins will always be worth something.

You can rest assured that the spooks who fabricated the Bin Laden revenge drama are just cleaning up after themselves, tying up loose ends... I think most of us saw this coming right from day 1 after hearing their BS fairy tale. If you don't believe me since I don't have a daily radio show to record my daily ideas and prediction I can point you to a man who does, Alex Jones. Go back and check out the shows he had days after the news of the OBL kill came out. He CORRECTLY predicts that this SEAL team 6 would get liquidated by their own paymasters very shortly after in some plane or lol helicopter accident..... It's sad actually as I'll bet those who were killed were good patriotic men who just didn't know how utterly ruthless and demented their commanders are.

I guess we'll never read the book titled: The Inside Story Of the Bin Laden Kill Fraud, by Navy SEAL Team 6 Member... I doubt any of Team 6 who knew any of the details of the OBL mission are still alive. Remember many eye witness accounts from the night of the supposed OBL killing said that the helicopter crashed while it was full of men and that they could see burnt body's at the scene of the crash.

It's called Pfsense check it out with a google search, pfsense.org is the official site.

http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/security/security-howto/31406-build-your-own-ids-firewall-with-pfsense
Hear that sound? That is someone rattling your doorknob. If they are able to break in, they will ransack your home, rifle through your private papers, correspondence, bank statements, photos, and if lucky they’ll find your club memberships and credit cards - your identity. They may even plant listening devices. If you lived in a bad neighborhood, you’d put in high quality locks and maybe an alarm system. The problem is, on the net, everywhere is a bad neighborhood.

What stands between you and this happening on the internet is generally your router, which is designed more as a doorway than a lock. Consumer grade firewalls, either software or hardware, can act as a lock or gatekeeper. But to truly turn back the faceless attacks (even if they would just find pictures of your kids), you need a dynamic firewall with intrusion detection; the kind of 1U firewall server appliances usually found only in corporate data centers (read: expensive). Devices that generally start at about $3K; a Cisco PIX firewall starts at nine.

We’ll show you how you can put together your own firewall/router with all of the capabilities of high-end gear using open source software and inexpensive components. There are a significant number of open source distributions available for homebrew router/firewall builds. We chose pfSense for its outstanding built-in functionality, active support forums, first class documentation and overall maturity. Most significantly, beyond rich routing functionality, pfSense offers firewall and intrusion detection/prevention well beyond that of the mere mortal router.
From>>> http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/security/security-howto/31406-build-your-own-ids-firewall-with-pfsense

(TLS-) I use to use Smoothwall Express to secure my network and there is nothing wrong with SWE it works just fine. I had no break in's that I know of but I wanted a bit more and being a bit geeky wanted the best available. I consider PFsense the BEST there is in open source firewalls for many reasons including but not limited to: DDOS survivability greater than Linux based firewalls, ease of adding features, type of features including SNORT which is the Intrusion Dection and Prevention System.

It's not hard to set one of these up with one of the older PC's you have sitting around collecting dust, assuming you where smart enough to keep it!! If you want to go further you can add anti-virus capability's, again for free through the add packages tab. http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/security/security-howto/31433-build-your-own-utm-with-pfsense-part-1 link to helping you build your UTM: Unified Threat Management is straightforward: on the outer reaches of your network perimeter, you install an appliance that stops all possible threats to your network, an über firewall, as it were.

Enjoy! don't be lazy try to build one and if you run into trouble IM HERE ASK ME A QUESTION!

The president of Uganda is calling on people in the East African country to avoid physical contact, including handshaking and kissing, to prevent the spread of the deadly and highly contagious Ebola virus that is believed to have killed 14 people in the last few weeks.

The disease has no known cure or vaccine and some strains can kill up to 90 percent of victims within days. Ugandans are so fearful of the disease that residents in Kibaale province where the outbreak was reported said that people immediately fled the hospital after hearing patients with Ebola were there.

In a nationally televised speech today, President Yoweri Museveni said health officials are working to contain the disease to the rural district where the outbreak was confirmed Saturday, but at least one of the suspected victims was taken to a hospital in the capital city of Kampala. Now, nearly two dozen medical workers at Mulago Hospital are being held in isolation.

KAMPALA, Uganda (AP) — The deadly Ebola virus has killed 14 people in western Uganda this month, Ugandan health officials said on Saturday, ending weeks of speculation about the cause of a strange disease that had many people fleeing their homes.

The officials and a World Health Organization representative told a news conference in Kampala Saturday that there is "an outbreak of Ebola" in Uganda.

"Laboratory investigations done at the Uganda Virus Research Institute...have confirmed that the strange disease reported in Kibaale is indeed Ebola hemorrhagic fever," the Ugandan government and WHO said in joint statement. MORE>>>(AP)

Tell me I'm imagining things here if you like but am I to understand that Sorcha Faal created a story out of what looks like to me thin air, sourcing the FSB (new KGB) stating that Maurice Clemmons the shooter in Washington State was not only a militia member but that his entire militia had been committing acts of "terrorism" in the area, she dubbed it a "reign of terror" or rather her imaginary FSB contacts had. Quote "[said group] engaged in a ‘reign of terror’ against the very people these policemen are supposed to protect."

"The first attack by this militia group against US police forces, this reports continues, was the firebombing of 4 police cars in Seattle, Washington (this Regions largest city) on October 22, followed by the ambush killing of a Seattle policeman Timothy Brenton and the wounding of his partner Britt Sweeney on October 31st, and the latest attack which occurred this Sunday past when 4 police officers, Gregory Richards, Tina Griswold, Ronald Owens, Mark Menninger, were gunned down in Lakewood, Washington.

In the Seattle police car firebombing attack and ambush killing of Officer Timothy Brenton, US Federal and Local Police Forces captured one of the members of this militia group named Christopher John Montfort after a furious gun battle that left this labeled ‘domestic terrorist’ paralyzed."

Go check the news wires there are zero mentions of a militia connection at all anywhere to Maurice Clemmons, this Sorcha Faal has completely fabricated this entire story, for what purpose is just a simple matter of connecting the dots. Christopher John Monfort, the suspect in the Oct. 22 firebombing of four police vehicles and fatal shooting of a Seattle police officer. Is completely unconnected in every way the two incidents. They are two separate events and if she can provide or anyone else can provide a link let me know and I will apologize and retract this posting.

Who makes scripts like this up? Remember the Murrah Building in OKC and that Gov agent McVeigh? What was the SPLC, ADL, FBI and Mossad trying to do there? Remember they where trying to connect US militias to acts of terrorism. McVeigh was not a member of any established militia and got kicked out of every meeting he attended. Even so the US controlled MSM made the label stick, instead of a lone nut (as we're made to believe) the the whole story was made into an attack done by "militias" or "anti-government" individuals. Sorcha Faal is fabricating links and sources to deceive readers and implant the same message 'militias are dangerous terrorists' to the target audience, in her case gullible conspiracy theorists who don't check up on reports and claims, how else is this person even still read by anyone. What better than to #1 muddy the waters will all her other garbage she fabricates and #2 demonize the specific problem groups and individuals for whomever's paying if this is indeed what i think it is.

Bottom line there is no secretive militia group responsible for a "reign of terror" in upstate Washington. Just Individuals losing their marbles and killing cops that they see as the enemy. Sorcha Faal in my opinion is following a script and is not on the patriot movement's side, this isn't the only story she has put out that has these tell tail signs of enemy propaganda.

You decide, go read the article she wrote "5 Police Officers Killed By Secretive Militia Force In US Northwest" Remember all effective propaganda has a large amount of truth and resembles your world feelings and view to get you to associate with it and trust it.

The War on Drugs has failed. After 50 years of prohibition, illicit drugs are now the third most valuable industry in the world after food and oil, all in the control of criminals. Drugs are cheaper and more available than ever before. Millions of people are in prison for drugs offences. Corruption and violence, especially in producer and transit countries, endangers democracy. Tens of thousands of people die each year in drug wars.

SEATTLE (AP) - A few things will be different at this year's Hempfest, the 22-year-old summer "protestival" on Seattle's waterfront where tens of thousands of revelers gather to use dope openly, listen to music and gaze at the Olympic Mountains in the distance.

The haze of pot smoke might smell a little more like victory, after Washington and Colorado became the first states to legalize marijuana use by adults over 21. Having won at the state level, speakers will concentrate on the reform of federal marijuana laws.

Oh, and the Seattle police - who have long turned a lenient eye on Hempfest tokers - don't plan to be writing tickets or making arrests. They'll be busy handing out Doritos.

"I think it's going to be a lot of fun," said Sgt. Sean Whitcomb, department spokesman and junk-food-dispenser-in-chief. "It's meant to be ironic. The idea of police passing out Doritos at a festival that celebrates pot, we're sure, is going to generate some buzz."

The idea isn't just to satisfy some munchies. The department has affixed labels to 1,000 bags of Doritos urging people to check out a question-and-answer post on its website, titled "Marijwhatnow? A Guide to Legal Marijuana Use In Seattle." It explains some of the nuances of Washington's law: that adults can possess up to an ounce but can't sell it or give it away, that driving under the influence of pot is illegal, and that - festivals aside - public use is illegal. Read more here

Senator Rand Paul is widening the difference between his father, the long-time former Congressman from Texas whose “no” votes on principle, whether you agree or not, have shaped his place in history. See his lengthy farewell address upon retiring from the House of Representatives. Ron Paul has just established the non-profit Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity.

The differences between father and son are ones of personality, policy and opportunism. Since Rand Paul is intent on running for president in 2016, his drift toward the corporatist Republicans is noteworthy.

Senator Rand Paul appears sterner. He is also far less likely to return calls than his father. When he was running for the Kentucky Senate Seat in 2010, I made several calls to ask whether he intended to support the bills his father was proposing in the House, including the legalization of growing industrial hemp in the U.S. for food, energy, clothing, paper lubricants and many other uses. He never responded, even though he was called by the Louisville Courier Journal on this subject. (Senator Paul has now sponsored legalization of industrial hemp cultivation.)

Soon I realized that others had difficulty in reaching him both during his campaign and since then. In 2010, his campaign director did tell me that when Rand Paul becomes Senator, he would go after the overblown military budget.

Remembering that assurance, I was more than surprised to learn how far Rand Paul has moved from his libertarian/conservative base. Here are two recent statements of his that received little coverage.

Last month, the Associated Press reported Senator Paul saying:

“They’re precisely the same people who are unwilling to cut the spending and their “Gimme, gimme, gimme—give me all the Sandy [Hurricane Sandy] money now,’ those are the people who are bankrupting the government and not letting enough money be left over for national defense.”

A few days later on August 6, Senator Paul was at Fort Campbell in Kentucky where he said: “If we were to cut somewhere else in the budget, I would try to restore some money to the military.”

Well, well, the corporatists and crony capitalists may have a new recruit—Rand Paul—who is not heeding President Dwight Eisenhower’s famous caveat about the military industrial complex in his 1961 farewell address to the American people.

Kentucky has numerous military installations and military contractors who must be quite pleased with how Rand Paul has dropped his fathers’ notable opposition to the bloated military budget and the imperial consequences of empire building. Meanwhile, Senator Paul has little trouble on another spending front—namely that Kentucky gets $1.51 back for every tax dollar it sends to Washington D.C.

Newt Gingrich—a military empire builder if there ever was one—is now praising Rand Paul in the Washington Times.

Libertarians do not like sovereignty-shredding authoritarian trade agreements such as NAFTA and the GATT. Rand Paul not only declines to challenge the autocratic systems of transnational governance created by these agreements that drive ‘corporate managed trade,’ but he votes for more drastic bilateral extensions with South Korea and Colombia.

Senator Paul received much deserved publicity in March when he spoke for 13 hours on the Senate floor against drone warfare and the extent of the President’s right to commit homicide. That led some commentators to say he positioned himself ahead of the pack for 2016. The Senator has discovered showhorsing—get all the publicity but hold back from continuing to seriously workhorse the issue.

Mr. Paul did the same last year when he voted against the National Defense Authorization Act which contained a provision that many argue authorizes the president to arrest anyone suspected of terrorist support or activity and jail them without charges. Rand Paul turned down pleas from some of his outside political advisors to put “a hold” on the bill that would have intensified his opposition and aroused the public. That signaled Senator Paul had complied with the demand of the Senate Republican leadership club.

Senator Paul refers often to the Constitution and its preamble that starts with “we the people.” But his votes seem to reflect that he supports big business, including big oil, gaining more power over the people or at the expense of the people. Surely he knows that nowhere in the U.S Constitution do the words “corporation” or “company” appear.

Perhaps political ambition also has deterred physician (ophthalmologist) Rand Paul from applying the Hippocratic Oath (never do harm) in the Senate. He voted with 46 Senators who wished to rollback violent toxic emissions (including mercury) from electric power plants.

There was a time when the corporate state in Washington, D.C. was anxious about candidate Rand Paul. They thought he would defiantly oppose their many corporate welfare benefits, instead of just pitching words. They sensed that he would be the hairshirt and watchdog over the lucrative, wasteful military budget and militarism abroad. The anxiety is gone. The word around the world of corporate lobbying inside the Beltway is that Rand Paul is becoming “bankable.”

So much for his fellow Kentuckians back home who don’t have Inc. after their names. For these people, Rand Paul will continue to voice unlimited free market rhetoric. None of that will help hardworking folks earn a decent livelihood with life-saving full Medicare and free choice of doctors and hospitals—or safer environments. Those are visions that Ophthalmologist Rand Paul did not learn much about in medical school.

On the matters of corporatism, Empire, militarism, the big Wall Street banks, crony capitalism and the unlawful, repressive national security bureaucracy, Rand Paul is being pulled from his father’s positions by the pressure of Republicans who thrive off the corporate state. His libertarian base will have to weigh in before the tipping point of political ambition confronts his first supporters.

I didn't bother with the rest of the other enerfood ingredients but im sure the more you add the better it will be but I think the real effect is from the top 5 ingredients.

Washington joins Colorado on this historic evening in passing their marijuana legalization initiative, I-502, in a 55% to 45% vote (with 50% of the vote tallied). The Seattle Times has called it a victory for I-502.

The significance of these events cannot be understated. Tonight, for the first time in history, two states have legalized and regulated the adult use and sale of cannabis. We know must focus on the important work of implementation and begin to encourage other states to adopt these rational reforms. NORML will have much, much more as we progress. For now, we would just like to thank all the dedicated activists and supporters who made this night possible. We SMOKED THE VOTE and will now enter a new chapter in the history of marijuana law reform.

Marijuana prohibition might have not died completely tonight, but it certainly has been put on life support.

Colorado Has Legalized Marijuana

by Erik Altieri, NORML Communications Director

In a historic vote that will reverberate around the nation, the Denver NBC affiliated has projected that Colorado will pass Amendment 64 and will legalize marijuana. By a vote of 53% to 47% (with 38% of the vote tallied) news networks have begun to confirm that Colorado’s Amendment 64 has been passed by voters.

This marks the first time in history that a state has moved to legalize marijuana outright for adult consumers. This vote shows that, like alcohol prohibition before it, cannabis prohibition is a failed, unpopular policy that largely relies on state and local enforcement. Alcohol prohibition came to an end when a sufficient number of states enacted legislation repealing the state’s alcohol prohibition laws. With states no longer doing the federal government’s bidding to enforce an unpopular law, the Feds eventually had no choice but to abandon the policy altogether. History is now repeating itself.

Until now, no state law has defined cannabis as a legal commodity. Some state laws do provide for a legal exception that allows for certain qualified patients to possess specific amounts of cannabis as needed. But, until this evening, no state in modern history has classified cannabis itself as a legal product that may be lawfully possessed and consumed by adults. Thanks to the support from their voters, Colorado has no taken that brave first step.

Stay tuned for more information on this monumentous event, as we’ll be writing much, much more about it in the coming days. Also, continue watching NORML’s live election coverage here to see if Washington and Oregon will follow Colorado’s lead.

by Erik Altieri, NORML Communications Director November 6, 2012

With a current vote total of 63% in favor and 37% opposed (with 40% of the vote tallied), NORML projects that Massachuetts is set to become the eighteenth state to allow for the physician supervised use of marijuana. Massachusetts now joins its fellow Northeastern states of Connecticut, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Maine in recognizing and allowing for the medical use of cannabis.

When implemented, this law would eliminate state criminal and civil penalties for the medical use of marijuana by qualifying patients. To qualify, a patient must have been diagnosed with a debilitating medical condition, such as cancer, glaucoma, HIV-positive status or AIDS, hepatitis C, Crohn’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, ALS, or multiple sclerosis.

It will also allow patients to possess up to a 60-day supply of marijuana for their personal medical use, the amount of which will be determined by the Department of Public Health. A patient could designate a personal caregiver, at least 21 years old, who could assist with the patient’s medical use of marijuana but would be prohibited from consuming that marijuana. Patients and caregivers would have to register with DPH by submitting the physician’s certification. It will also allow for the approval of up to 35 non-profit medical marijuana treatment centers to grow, process and provide marijuana to patients or their caregivers.

NORML will have more information as this issue progresses. Stay tuned to norml.org for the latest and keep watching our live election coverage to see if our reform measures pass in other states.

Last Wednesday, 24-year-old Portland self-described anarchist and political activist Leah-Lynn Plante was released from prison after serving a week of her 18-month sentence for refusing to testify against othersin front of a secret federal grand jury; however, her two roommates remain incarcerated.

Now freed political dissident Leah-Lynn Plante

Plante and her house mates were served summons via a “paramilitary” FBI and Joint Task Force raid allegedly seeking to identify protesters who may have been involved in the havoc wreaked earlier this year during the May Day riotsin Seattle.

The raid was conducted as all occupants of the house slept. She described it in a post on her blog site:

“FBI agents from around Washington and Oregon and Joint Terrorism Task Force agents from Washington busted down the front door of my house with a battering ram, handcuffed my house mates and me at gunpoint, and held us hostage in our backyard while they read us a search warrant and ransacked our home. They said it was in connection to May Day vandalism that occurred in Seattle, Washington earlier this year.

“However, we suspected that this was not really about broken windows. As if they had taken pointers from Orwell’s 1984, they took books, artwork and other various literature as ‘evidence’ as well as many other personal belongings even though they seemed to know that nobody there was even in Seattle on May Day. While we know that knowledge is powerful, we suspected that nobody used rolled up copies of the Stumptown Wobbly to commit property damage.

“We saw this for what it was. They are trying to investigate anarchists and persecute them for their beliefs. This is a fishing expedition. This is a witch hunt. Since then, thanks to a Freedom of Information Act request, we have learned that this Grand jury was convened on March 2nd, 2012, two months before the May Day vandalism even took place.”

Indeed, Seattlepi.comrecently confirmed Leah’s information that the FBI was interested in several suspects prior to the May Day riots, even going so far as to follow some from Portland to Seattle and also obtaining phone and text records supposedly linking them to the violence.

“As the investigation into the May Day riot continues, recently unsealed court documents show the FBI’s interest in several suspects predated the political vandalism that swept downtown Seattle,” the Seattle PI report states.

Since then, all three have been involved in lengthy, but highly-secretive, legal battles. Not surprisingly, the “indefinite detention” of these citizens, for what amounted to little more than possessing “anarchist literature,” has received virtually no mainstream media attention.

While Plante has been released, her room mates Katherine Olejnik and Matthew Duran remain behind bars, as they also refused to testify.

Writer J.G. Vibes described the “legal loophole”which basically waived the defendants’ Fifth Amendment right to remain silent, allowing the grand jury to incarcerate the political dissidents:

“The sneaky legal trick that the prosecutors pulled was granting her immunity, which meant that anything she said to them would not incriminate her. This may sound OK at face value, but when you are granted immunity you lose your right to remain silent and can be thrown into prison for what is called “civil contempt.” This actually happens a lot; video journalist Josh Wolf, for example, served seven-and-a-half months in 2006 and 2007 for refusing to cooperate with a grand jury and turn over his footage of a protest in San Francisco. Grand jury trials are very shady ordeals, which have totally different rules than the typical court case. Defense attorneys are not even allowed to be present, and the proceedings of the case are completely secret.”

Vibes further posits that all three have alibis, and weren’t even in Seattle during the riots.

Last month, at Plante’s second grand jury hearing, she informed the court she was aware her arrest was a thinly-veiled, political ploy. “I believe that these hearings are politically motivated…The government wants to use them to collect information that it can use in a campaign of repression. I refuse to have any part of it, I will never answer their questions, I will never speak.”

Plante’s house mate Katherine “KteeO” Olejnik was incarcerated on September 28 for the same crime, and their third house mate, Matthew Duran, was jailed a few days before her, RT.comreported.

According to RT, Duran’s lawyers have confirmed that he is in solitary confinement, “denied contact with his lawyer, denied visitor requests forms, personal dietary requirements and sunlight and fresh air.”

As Infowars has reported in the past, riots are often instigated by agent provocateurs, undercover cops dressed as dissidents inserted into protest groups to provoke violence and justify police state riot crackdown measures.

“Alex Jones’ film Police State 2: The Takeover” exposed how the black bloc anarchists were completely infiltrated and provocateured by the authorities during the violent 1999 WTO protests in Seattle,” Paul Watson wrotein 2009.

In the video clip to the left of the 2009 protest at the G20 summit in Pittsburgh, three poorly disguised undercover police officers are spotted posing as anarchist protesters.

In the clip, a genuine protestor states one of the three officers broke the flash on his camera, and by the end of the clip, all genuine protestors are aware that the awkward group of three are in fact police.

In addition, a 2011 reportconducted by Mother Jones and the University of California-Berkeley revealed that the FBI “regularly infiltrates communities where they suspect terrorist-minded individuals to be engaging with others.”

According to RT, “Regardless of their intentions, agents are sent in to converse within the community, find suspects that could potentially carry out “lone wolf” attacks and then, more or less, encourage them to do so. By providing weaponry, funds and a plan, FBI-directed agents will encourage otherwise-unwilling participants to plot out terrorist attacks, only to bust them before any events fully materialize.”

As recent as last week, a Bangladeshi man with “overseas connections to al-Qaida” was entrapped by the FBI after they supplied him a car loaded with 1,000 pounds of “inert explosives” which he allegedly tried to detonate. According to CBS News, information of Quazi Mohammad Rezwanul Ahsan Nafis’s arrest came as a shock to his family back home in Bangladesh, who say, “he could not have committed the alleged crimes.”

“For me choosing to resist a grand jury is about humanity – I cannot and will not say something that could greatly harm a person’s life, and providing information that could lead to long term incarceration would be doing that.

“For me choosing to resist a grand jury is about freedom of speech and association – I cannot and will not be a party to a McCarthyist policy that is asking individuals to condemn each other based on political beliefs.

“The reasons above are why I am choosing to not comply. I apologize to those in my life on whom my incarceration is going to be a burden, and I thank you for understanding my decision.

“For those unaware the folks being subpoenaed are being incarcerated for refusing to answer questions about others’ political beliefs.”

(WIRED) Traffic-light tickets have ticked off a gazillion drivers, some of whom have had to fork over $500 for running a light. Now there’s a way for you to throw a monkey wrench into that money-making machine.

Jonathan Dandrow has developed noPhoto, which renders the pix snapped by those revenue-generating robo-cams useless. The technology behind noPhoto is fairly simple. At the top of the gadget, which doubles as a license plate frame, there’s an optical flash trigger that detects the flash of the traffic-light camera. That trigger sets off one or both xenon flashes in the sides of the noPhoto, so when the traffic-light camera opens its shutter, there’s too much light and the picture of your license plate is overexposed. Big Brother can’t read your plate.

Sweet.

The impetus for the noPhoto is two-fold, Dandrow says. On the one hand he just wanted to see if could make something that worked. He’s not an engineer, but he’s always tinkered with car-related gadgets and he loves cameras. NoPhoto combines both interests.

He also thinks red-light cameras are a serious infringement of a drivers’ rights. As Gary Biller, the president of the National Motorists Association, recently wrote in U.S. News and World Report, traffic-light cameras violate “several key tenets of a citizen’s due process rights,” because there is “no certifiable witness to the alleged violation,” and so therefore, “the defendant loses the right to cross-examine his accuser in court.” Many cities are deactivating their cameras, but there are still plenty of them around. READ MORE HERE>>

Most of us go through life with a selective ear for the news we take in. We hear the good more than the bad, the flattering more than the insulting. And we update our beliefs in a way that reflects that bias.

The effect appears in many guises. We update our self image when told we are smarter or better-looking than we thought. But if we hear we are more stupid and uglier than we supposed, we revise that image rather less. In the general population, about 80% to 90% of us behave this way.

The regions to which TMS was administered. The right inferior frontal gyrus (IFG) is on the right, and the left IFG is on the left. Photograph: National Academy of Sciences

There are pros and cons to what neuroscientists call the "good news/bad news effect", though by the nature of the beast, you might dismiss the negatives. In building beliefs predominantly on good news, we lean towards an optimistic view of life. We are less anxious of the likelihoods of unpleasant events: cancer, burglary, internet fraud, missing a flight, divorce.

There is a cost to this rose-tinted view of the world though. To ignore bad news can be dangerous. It can make us overconfident, perhaps even reckless. It might leave us unprepared for a natural disaster, naive to the dangers of contracting disease, or oblivious to the warning signs of impending financial collapse.

In a series of experiments at University College London, a team of neuroscientists has gone some way to explaining how this preference for good news arises in the brain. Through disrupting the function of a small brain region, they neutralised the bias and left people as open to bad news as they were to good. READ MORE HERE>>

(foxnews.com) Intelligence sources tell Fox News they are convinced the deadly attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, was directly tied to Al Qaeda -- with a former Guantanamo detainee involved.

That revelation comes on the same day a top Obama administration official called last week's deadly assault a "terrorist attack" -- the first time the attack has been described that way by the administration after claims it had been a "spontaneous" act.

"Yes, they were killed in the course of a terrorist attack on our embassy," Matt Olsen, director of the National Counterterrorism Center, said during a Senate hearing Wednesday.

Olsen echoed administration colleagues in saying U.S. officials have no specific intelligence about "significant advanced planning or coordination" for the attack.

However, his statement goes beyond White House Press Secretary Jay Carney and Susan Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, saying the Sept. 11 attack on the consulate was spontaneous. He is the first top administration official to call the strike an act of terrorism.

Sufyan Ben Qumu is thought to have been involved and even may have led the attack, Fox News' intelligence sources said. Qumu, a Libyan, was released from the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, in 2007 and transferred into Libyan custody on the condition he be kept in jail. His Guantanamo files also show he has ties to the financiers behind the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Olson, repeating Wednesday that the FBI is handling the Benghazi investigation, also acknowledged the attack could lead back to Al Qaeda and its affiliates. READ MORE HERE>>

(WIRED) Another lobbying group hit Washington, D.C. on Wednesday. But think again before you start screaming that it’s just another lobby representing the 1%.

The Internet Association, backed by behemoths Amazon, Google, Facebook and others — 14 groups in all — is focused on internet freedom — something that’s easy in principle and hard when it comes to details.

As a yardstick of what this group’s philosophy is, its president said that had the group been around earlier this year, it would have lobbied against the Stop Online Piracy Act. Among other things, the measure would have required ISPs to prevent Americans from visiting piracy blacklisted sites by altering the system known as DNS that turns site names like Google.com into IP addresses such as 174.35.23.56. Instead, for the blacklisted sites, ISPs would have to lie to their customers and tell their browsers that the site doesn’t exist.

The SOPA legislation — which was heavily backed by the Recording Industry Association of America and Hollywood’s lobbying arm, the Motion Picture Association of America — was among the main reasons for the association’s founding. House hearings on the debate, meanwhile, pitted the MPAA against Google. Lawmakers appeared more concerned about Google linking to pirated material than they were about the ramifications of granting the government the power to remove that content.

Giving the Justice Department the power to order internet service providers like Comcast and AT&T to block their users from visiting blacklisted sites would be unprecedented in the United States, though it’s a common tactic used in countries like Syria, Iran and China to clamp down on political dissent and adult content. READ MORE HERE>>
Shocking GMO study: Rats fed lifetime of GM corn grow horrifying tumors, 70% of females die earlytag:12160.info,2012-09-19:2649739:BlogPost:9973532012-09-19T17:30:00.000ZTheLasersShadowhttps://12160.info/profile/TheLasersShadow

That's the conclusion of a shocking new study that looked at the long-term effects of consuming Monsanto's genetically modified corn.

The study has been deemed "the most thorough research ever published into the health effects of GM food crops and the herbicide Roundup on rats." News of the horrifying findings is spreading like wildfire across the internet, with even the mainstream media seemingly in shock over the photos of rats with multiple grotesque tumors... tumors so large the rats even had difficulty breathing in some cases. GMOs may be the new thalidomide.

"Monsanto Roundup weedkiller and GM maize implicated in 'shocking' new cancer study" wrote The Grocery, a popular UK publication.
The study, led by Gilles-Eric Seralini of the University of Caen, was the first ever study to examine the long-term (lifetime) effects of eating GMOs. You may find yourself thinking it is absolutely astonishing that no such studies were ever conducted before GM corn was approved for widespread use by the USDA and FDA, but such is the power of corporate lobbying and corporate greed.

The study was published in The Food & Chemical Toxicology Journal and was just presented at a news conference in London.

Two southeast companies that make U.S. military uniforms are shedding hundreds of jobs, as the government looks to federal inmates for the fatigues.

American Power Source makes military clothing in Fayette, Ala., but its government contract expires in October. Federal Prison Industries – which also operates under the name UNICOR will snag the work, and leave the task to inmates. FPI has the first right of refusal for U.S. Government contracts, under a 1930 federal law.

American Apparel, the Selma, Ala., based military clothing manufacturer closed one of its plants and continues to downsize others due to the loss of some of its contracts to FPI. According retired Air Force colonel and spokesman Kurt Wilson, the company laid off 255 employees and cut the hours of 190 employees this year alone. So private workers end up losing their jobs to prisoners.

"The way the law is – Federal Prison Industries gets first dibs and contracts up to a certain percentage before they have to compete against us," Wilson, the executive vice president of business development and government affairs, said. "The army combat uniform, for instance, is an item that they take off the top. As a result American tax payers pay more for it – but the bottom line is each soldier is paying more for their uniform."

American Apparel charges $29.44 per uniform, but the FPI uniform costs $34.18 – a 15 percent difference.

FPI has been around since the 1930s. It provides training, education and employment for inmates in federal custody. With more than 13,000 inmates, FPI operates in about 80 factories across the United States. The company is not allowed to sell its goods to the private sector -- and the law requires federal agencies to buy its products, even if they are not the cheapest. READ MORE HERE>>

I was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at a friend's house last Friday. They stay directly across from the US embassy. Well, around 3PM we noticed the police blocking the major road out front of the embassy which is called Jalan Tun Razak. We anticipated some demonstrations since they plastered it all over the news, so we were very curious to look out the window. But, what we saw was more interesting than we could have imagined.

The police blocked the road off for a media scrum and the most piss poor ragtag "demonstration" I have ever seen. There were approximately 8 people protesting and probably 20 photographers and media people. It was the most contrived thing I have ever seen. The photographers were getting as close as possible to the demonstrators careful not to show the reality and shallowness of the situation. To say it was pathetic is an understatement.

The media is trying to paint something that is not... What's new, right? Just another day in the US / Isreali military and security complex.

When will folks wake up????

A new Congressional report lays out in vivid detail the danger drones could pose for personal privacy. Here’s everything you need to know.

Starting in 2015, the skies above the United States will become infiltrated by a rare creature: drones.

Also known as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), drones are currently forbidden from flying in U.S. airspace above 400 feet, unless the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) provides a license.

But thanks to a bill passed by Congress early this year to make these licenses easier to get, drones will likely become a part of everyday life for Americans.

While fun and futuristic, this coming reality unearths serious questions about privacy and personal liberty in the 21st century.

A report published last week by the Congressional Research Service (CRS) shows that our laws are currently unprepared to deal with the privacy implications posed by the use of drones.

The report (pdf) is an excellent read — at least if you’re a wonk like me. But if you don’t have time to peruse a 20-page CRS report, here are the 13 things you must know about the looming drone privacy apocalypse.

1. There will be 30,000 drones in the sky in less than 20 years

The FAA estimates (pdf) that within the next 15 years, more than 20,000 drones will take to the skies in the U.S., including drones operated by police, military, public health and safety agencies, corporations, and the public in general.

That number is expected to jump to 30,000 within 20 years from today — a number the FAA refers to as “relatively small.” Currently, the FAA has only given out about 300 licenses to fly drones capable of cruising at more than 400 feet in the air.

2. Matters of privacy are all about “reasonableness”

The Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees our right against “unreasonable searches and seizures.” The key word here is “unreasonable” — and thanks to our rapidly changing technologies, its definition is in near-constant flux.

CRS researcher and legislative attorney Richard M. Thompson II, who authored the report on drones, explains in the report that “the reasonableness of drone surveillance [as considered by the courts] would likely be informed by location of the search, the sophistication of the technology used, and society’s conception of privacy in an age of rapid technological advancement.”

It’s this last part — “society’s conception of privacy” — that you should worry about on a daily basis, as it applies to the use of information gathered by everything from drones flying over our back yards to GPS capabilities in our smartphones to our Facebook profiles.

Once society becomes generally “OK” with certain information becoming public, or becoming public in a certain way — once we think of these things as “reasonable — the Fourth Amendment protects us less.

3. The Fourth Amendment: It depends what the definition of “search” is

As with what can be considered “reasonable,” the definition of what constitutes a “search” under the Fourth Amendment is a slippery beast.

Birthmarks, be damned: the FBI has officially started rolling out a state-of-the-art face recognition project that will assist in their effort to accumulate and archive information about each and every American at a cost of a billion dollars.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has reached a milestone in the development of their Next Generation Identification (NGI) program and is now implementing the intelligence database in unidentified locales across the country, New Scientist reports in an article this week. The FBI first outlined the project back in 2005, explaining to the Justice Department in an August 2006 document (.pdf) that their new system will eventually serve as an upgrade to the current Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS) that keeps track of citizens with criminal records across America .

“The NGI Program is a compilation of initiatives that will either improve or expand existing biometric identification services,” its administrator explained to the Department of Justice at the time, adding that the project, “will accommodate increased information processing and sharing demands in support of anti-terrorism.”

“The NGI Program Office mission is to reduce terrorist and criminal activities by improving and expanding biometric identification and criminal history information services through research, evaluation and implementation of advanced technology within the IAFIS environment.”

The agency insists, “As a result of the NGI initiatives, the FBI will be able to provide services to enhance interoperability between stakeholders at all levels of government, including local, state, federal, and international partners.” In doing as such, though, the government is now going ahead with linking a database of images and personally identifiable information of anyone in their records with departments around the world thanks to technology that makes fingerprint tracking seem like kids' stuff.

According to their 2006 report, the NGI program utilizes “specialized requirements in the Latent Services, Facial Recognition and Multi-modal Biometrics areas” that “will allow the FnewBI to establish a terrorist fingerprint identification system that is compatible with other systems; increase the accessibility and number of the IAFIS terrorist fingerprint records; and provide latent palm print search capabilities.”

VLADIVOSTOK, Russia — Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird has severed Canadian ties with Iran over its sponsorship of terrorism and amid fears about the safety of diplomats in the country.

Baird says the Canadian embassy in Tehran will close immediately and Iranian diplomats in Canada have been given five days to leave.

The skeleton staff that was operating Canada's Tehran mission has already fled the country.

Baird says he's worried about the safety of diplomats in Tehran following recent attacks on the British embassy there.

"The Iranian regime has shown blatant disregard for the Vienna Convention and its guarantee of protection for diplomatic personnel," he said.

"Under the circumstances, Canada can no longer maintain a diplomatic presence in Iran. Our diplomats serve Canada as civilians and their safety is our No. 1 priority."

He also condemned the regime as a sponsor of terrorism.

"Canada views the government of Iran as the most significant threat to global peace and security in the world today," he said. READ MORE HERE>>
FED SET TO PUMP: Jobs growth brakes in August, seen forcing Fed's handtag:12160.info,2012-09-07:2649739:BlogPost:9812252012-09-07T12:49:03.000ZTheLasersShadowhttps://12160.info/profile/TheLasersShadow

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Jobs growth slowed more than expected in August, setting the stage for the Federal Reserve to pump additional money into the sluggish economy next week and dealing a blow to President Obama as he seeks reelection in November.

Nonfarm payrolls increased only 96,000 last month, the Labor Department said on Friday. While the unemployment rate dropped to 8.1 percent from 8.3 percent in July, it was largely due to Americans giving up the search for work.

The report's weak tenor was also underscored by revisions to June and July data to show 41,000 fewer jobs created than previously reported. The labor force participation rate, or the percentage of Americans who either have a job or are looking for one, fell to 63.5 percent -- the lowest since September 1981.

The lackluster report keeps the pressure on Obama ahead of the November vote in which the health of the economy looms large. READ MORE HERE>>

Susanne Posel, Contributor
Activist Post

The Ebola virus mysteriously appeared in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) in 1976 and has sporadically reappeared in the area without explanation ever since. Mainstream medical professional believe that eating monkeys who are infected with Ebola is the initial mode of transmission. However, this is accepted speculation because the scientific community agrees that the natural reservoir of the virus is unknown and therefore knowledge of transmission is only hypothesized.

In July of this year, a sudden outbreak of the Ebola virus surfaced, killing 14 people. The World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Uganda’s Ministry of Health came together to control the unexpected eruption.

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni made a formal statement warning his citizens:

I therefore appeal to you to be vigilant. Avoid shaking of hands; do not take on burying somebody that has died from symptoms which look like Ebola. Instead, call the health workers to be the ones to do it. And avoid promiscuity because these sicknesses can also go through sex.

Dr. Paul Roddy, Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF), a French charity, asserts that the outbreak of the Ebola virus in Uganda has been stabilized, however an additional outbreak could erupt in another location. Roddy believes that natives eating bush-meat were the catalyst for spread. He assumes that monkeys who have eaten infected bats, that were then consumed by Ugandans was the chain of infection.

Eight days later, in the DRC, a new strain of the Ebola virus has surfaced according to medical volunteers from MSF. It is not the same strain as was discovered in Uganda.

This new epidemic is being monitored because “not every person who develops the disease will develop clear symptoms that are recognized as Ebola. For the moment it seems that there are not that many cases but the exact number of cases is unknown,” said Anja de Weggheleire, representative of MSF.

Overseen by the US Department of Defense (DoD) under the Transformational Medical Technologies program (TMT) of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) have spent millions of dollars conducting scientific research into the Ebola virus, its potential for being turned into a bio-weapon and certain vaccine efforts through two drug corporations, Massachusetts-based Sarepta Therapeutics and Tekmira Pharmaceuticals of Canada. Then the funding was abruptly cut.

The TMT creates relationships with private sector biotech firms, pharmaceutical corporations and academic institutions, as well as other government agencies to advance biological warfare, research viral and biological weapons and estimate threat levels of all biological agents based on ability to infect and effectiveness of devastation. READ MORE HERE>>

29 dead in a little over a week. Nearly 200 gone this year. The White House is stepping up its campaign of drone attacks in Yemen, with four strikes in eight days. And not even the slaying of 10 civilians over the weekend seems to have slowed the pace in the United States’ secretive, undeclared war.

At this week’s Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, you’ll hear lots of talk about the Obama administration’s pursuit of al-Qaida and its allies — including, of course, the raid that ultimately took out Osama bin Laden. But the hottest battlefield in this worldwide conflict isn’t likely to receive much attention. It’s a shame, because the fight in Yemen is one that demands discussion. Not only does the White House consider al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula to be the extremist group most likely to strike in the United States. But the American response to that threat was been widely questioned by regional experts, who wonder whether U.S. drones and commandos aren’t being duped into fighting on one side of a civil war.

The latest attack came in Hadramout province, where a barrage of eight missiles slammed into a suspected militant safe house on Wednesday, killing six people. “The exact target of today’s strike has not been disclosed; no senior AQAP leaders have been reported killed in the attack,” the Long War Journal notes. Most of those killed were fresh recruits; only one could be considered an extremist veteran, a security official tells CNN. Several others were able to escape the hideout alive.

On Sunday, at least 10 civilians were not so fortunate. They were killed in a strike gone awry near the town of Rada’a in al-Baitha province. An aircraft — believed to be an American drone — fired a pair of missiles at a vehicle supposedly carrying a local AQAP leader. One of the missiles instead hit a nearby minibus. A 10-year-old girl and her mother were among the dead. “Families attempted to carry the victims’ corpses to the capital, Sana’a, to lay them in front of the residence of newly elected President Abdurabu Hadi, but were sent back by local security forces,” according to CNN.

“You want us to stay quiet while our wives and brothers are being killed for no reason. This attack is the real terrorism,” one Rada’a resident tells the network. Members of parliament and Yemeni human rights groups were quick to condemn the killings, as well. READ MORE HERE>>
Waterboarding 'more widespread than CIA will admit' as new torture claims emergetag:12160.info,2012-09-06:2649739:BlogPost:9803792012-09-06T17:00:00.000ZTheLasersShadowhttps://12160.info/profile/TheLasersShadow

Waterboarding at CIA-run prisons was more widespread than has been acknowledged, a damning human rights group report claimed today.

New details of brutal treatment by Bush-era interrogators included how terror suspects were not allowed to bathe for three months.

The report by Human Rights Watch also paints a more complete picture of Washington's close cooperation with the regime of Libya's former dictator Moammar Gadhafi in the wake of the 9/11 attacks.

Allies: The damning report claims the U.S. authorities handed Colonel Gadhafi his enemies on a silver platter

The U.S. handed over to Libya the Islamist opponents of Gadhafi that it detained abroad with only thin ‘diplomatic assurances’ that they would not be mistreated, and several of them were subsequently tortured in prison, Human Rights Watch said.

The 154-page report features interviews by the New York-based group with 14 Libyan dissident exiles. They describe systematic abuses while they were held in U.S.-led detention centers in Afghanistan – some for as long as two years – or in U.S.-led interrogations in Pakistan, Morocco, Thailand, Sudan and elsewhere before the Americans handed them over to Libya.

‘Not only did the U.S. deliver (Gadhafi) his enemies on a silver platter, but it seems the CIA tortured many of them first, said Laura Pitter, counterterrorism adviser at Human Rights Watch and author of the report.

‘The scope of the Bush administration abuse appears far broader than previously acknowledged,’ she said.

The report comes days after the Justice Department announced it would not bring criminal charges against any CIA personnel over severe interrogation methods used in the detention and rendition program.

Investigators said they could not prove any interrogators went beyond guidelines authorized by the Bush administration.

Rights activists and some Obama administration officials say even the authorized techniques constituted torture, though the CIA and Bush administration argue they do not.

Any new instances of waterboarding, however, would go beyond the three that the CIA has said were authorized. READ MORE HERE>>
