16 August 2009 TEHRAN - The West must be held to account for stoking Iran’s post-election unrest, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Sunday, as the third mass trial got underway of demonstrators accused of trying to overthrow clerical rule.
The June 12 vote has plunged Iran into its biggest internal crisis since the 1979 Islamic revolution, exposing deepening divisions within its ruling elite and also further straining relations with Western…

I am amazed at how naive I have been....I've read the Bible numerous times and studied end times prophecy for years, but had no clue what has been going on around me. Now that I'm sober, it seems God is giving me a crash course in reality!!! It is humbling....and frustrating! I feel like everyone I associate with is a dumbed-down zombie who has no idea what's going on nor do they want to know!! A typical ploy of the enemy is to divide and conquer, to try to make you think you are all alone…

Undercover Baltimore police officer Dante Arthur was doing what he does well, arresting drug dealers, when he approached a group in January. What he didn't know was that one of suspects knew from a previous arrest that Arthur was police. Arthur was shot twice in the face. In the gunfight that ensued, Arthur's partner returned fire and shot one of the suspects, three of whom were later arrested.
In many ways, Dante Arthur was…

There’s just one element of the stories of my childhood that fascinates my own children. It’s not the absence of mobile phones, or the idea of a world before the internet. It’s the fact that so many of my small crises ended in the same way: with my being rescued by the kind intervention of an unknown man. Whether…

Hi everyone....I heard about this site through Alex Jones' documentaries. You can follow me on Twitter....UgottaBkiddinMe. Anyway, I had a visit earlier this year at my home from the Secret Service. Apparently some obot reported me for a tweet I wrote. Frustrated with the events we are all aware of, I stupidly said: "That's it! I'm grabbing my gun and going to D.C."
You can find the tweet in my history on Twitter. After determining I am not a threat, even though I am a Christian, a…

American Friends of Ateret Cohanim, a nonprofit organization that sends millions of shekels worth of donations to Israel every year for clearly political purposes, such as buying Arab properties in East Jerusalem, is registered in the United States as an organization that funds educational institutes in Israel.
The U.S. tax code enables nonprofits to receive tax-exempt status if they engage in educational, charitable, religious or scientific activity. However, such…

(AP) - A New Jersey blogger facing charges in two states for allegedly making threats against lawmakers and judges was trained by the FBI on how to be deliberately provocative, his attorney said Tuesday.
Hal Turner worked for the FBI from 2002 to 2007 as an "agent provocateur" and was taught by the agency "what he could say that wouldn't be crossing the line," defense attorney Michael Orozco said.
"His job was basically to publish information which would cause other…

There is a fascinating debate raging about who owns the news -- or more precisely, who owns which parts of a news story. The AP kicked it off in earnest last April when Chairman Dean Singleton channeled his inner Howard Beale and announced the AP would no longer "stand by and watch others walk off with our work . . . . We are mad as hell, and we are not going to take it any more." Just a few days ago, the Nieman Journalism Lab at Harvard posted a confidential AP…

In America, Crazy Is a Preexisting Condition
In Pennsylvania last week, a citizen, burly, crew-cut and trembling with rage, went nose to nose with his baffled senator: "One day God's going to stand before you, and he's going to judge you and the rest of…

Balloon near border raises privacy concerns
Updated Sat. Aug. 15 2009 11:52 AM ET
By Geoff Nixon, CTV.ca News Staff
It's not often that a balloon makes people feel uncomfortable.
But the inflatable aircraft that has been floating above the St. Clair River in recent weeks, across the border from Sarnia, Ont., is no ordinary balloon.
Officially, the "balloon" is called an Aerostat. It's a…

This is a question I received by email from a close friend of mine after we had been talking on the phone about the ballistic reaction by the MSM to the "town hall gun nut" - and my response of course.

What does the bill, HR 3200, short-titled 'America's Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009,' actually say about major health care issues? I here pose a few questions in no particular order, citing relevant passages and offering a brief evaluation after each set of passages.
This bill is 1017 pages long. It is knee-deep in legalese and references to other federal regulations and laws. I have only touched pieces of the bill here. For instance, I have not considered the establishment of…

Hi. All
I think that watching the peoples reactions, and listening to their media based spin to what is transpiring with regards to the state of the economy and other issues is more entertaining than the television reality shows. In my case that is very true because I don't watch that television garbage anyhow.
I sometimes wonder though what will be the final straw that will motivate people to take action. Will it be when their entire pension has been completely…

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A U.S. military lawyer for a Kuwaiti detainee held at the American prison at Guantanamo Bay charged on Wednesday the Obama administration was hampering his efforts to clear his client's name.
Navy Lieutenant Commander Kevin Bogucki said the U.S. State Department would not issue him clearance to travel on Friday to Kuwait, where he planned to hold a news conference outlining the case involving his client, Fouad Al…
