Update on Potential Canadian Terrorist Attack Not Reported for 21 Hours???!!!

UPDATE II

"The dead man linked to two explosions at an Edmonton-area community centre earlier this week has been identified by police as Kane Kosolowsky.

An autopsy conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Edmonton determined that Kosolowsky, 21, died from a gunshot wound, RCMP said Thursday in a news release.

Shortly after the first explosion at about 6:30 p.m. MT on Tuesday, police found Kosolowsky injured inside a vehicle in the parkade of the Strathcona County Community Centre, in Sherwood Park.

He was taken to hospital, where he later died.

A second explosion happened in the same parkade at about 8:15 p.m., while the emergency response team and the explosive disposal unit (EDU) were on the scene. No one was injured in that blast.

Kosolowsky's family said they were "shocked and devastated" and are co-operating with investigators.

"The events that occurred are totally out of character for Kane and we trust that the authorities will continue a thorough investigation to provide the answers we are all seeking," the family said in a statement through the RCMP on Thursday.

"At this time we ask for privacy."

Remi Richer, who was a friend, also said Kosolowsky's actions were out of character.

"Me and the people that knew Kane are having a hard time wrapping our heads around this whole situation," she said. "This is completely out of his behaviour. He was a very humble and kind person. He was passionate about life."

RCMP have provided few other details about what happened, though a spokesperson said Thursday there is no indication the blasts are "related to any group or ideology."

Police said previously that investigators were not looking for any other suspects and said the public was in no danger."

So did Kosolowsky commit suicide? And if he didn't then who shot him?

And if someone shot Kosolowsky shouldn't the RCMP be looking for that person?

Did the RCMP shoot Kosolowsky?

"EXCLUSIVE: Man, 21, dead after blast led police to car packed with explosives in Sherwood Park"

"An explosion led police to a car packed with explosives and a man with severe injuries in Sherwood Park Tuesday night, Global News has learned. The 21-year-old man died of his injuries, RCMP confirmed in a Wednesday afternoon news conference.

Security sources told Global News the explosive material was believed to be Tannerite, a brand of binary explosive targets used for firearms practice. Sources said a ‘”significant… very large” amount of Tannerite was found in the car. Sources described this as a “homemade” vehicle-borne improvised explosive device."

"It took almost 21 hours for police to provide any significant information about what happened at a Sherwood Park garage on Tuesday night. Tom Vernon reports on the frustration felt by some about the lack of information about the explosions."

Tannerite reportedly found at Sherwood Park explosion scene. What is it?

Smells like a cover up is taking place when the RCMP fail to notify the public. Details appear to be a bit sketchy as we know nothing about the culprit and his motive(s).-RP

Let's not forget about what happened in BC just a couple of years ago.

This too should have been a Front Page Headline that every Canadian should be aware of and yet most people don't even know how the BC RCMP attempted to procure a terrorist attack on the BC Legislature.

"Sherwood Park resident Brent Oswald told CBC news he was on the second floor of the library when he heard a rumble from the car park below.

“There was a very deep boom,” Oswald said. “It wasn’t a bang. It was a boom and it shook the whole building.

“It was a massive explosion. It shook that place,” he said. “I was on the second floor, so that’s four storeys above the parking garage, and it’s a reinforced concrete building.”

Oswald said everyone filed out of the library as the fire alarms sounded and emergency vehicles arrived on scene. Oswald said he went to a restaurant across the street to watch the Oilers game.

But Oswald said the area was soon crawling with heavily-armed police.

“Things had completely changed,” he said. “This wasn’t just a couple of cops directing traffic.

“They were heavily armed and watching something … and they just told me, ‘Get out of here. I’ve never seen anything like that before.”
