Its alleged Dalton went on a rampage in February 2018 killing six people and injuring many more.
His shooting spree lasted several hours, and told police that at the time the Uber app he used on his iPhone was a “like artificial intelligence” and that the text on the screen changed from red to black and told him to carry-out his crazed killings.
During interviews he told the police that a devil that looked like a cow also appeared on his iPhone screen. He adamantly believes he was a victim of mind control – somehow transmitted to his brain through the popular application.
Jason Dalton told police after the shootings that when he opened the ride-sharing app on his phone; “a devil head popped up on his screen, and when he pressed the button on the app, that is when all the problems started,” according to an 87-page report released Monday by the Kalamazoo County sheriff, reports MLive.com.
Dalton “described the devil figure as a horned cow head or something like that and then it would give you an assignment and it would literally take over your whole body,” the report says.
During his bizarre account of the shootings, he told police over a series of interviews; “the iPhone could take you over.” He said he “wishes he would never have spoken to what that symbol was when he saw it on his phone.”
Dalton described the devil figure as a “horned cow head or something like that and then it would give you an assignment and it would literally take over your whole body.”
“He said it starts out that you have to follow the navigation, but it gets to the point where you don’t have to drive at all, the car just goes. He was seeing himself from outside of his body.”
Dalton also talked about his grandmother was in the Eastern Star and his grandfather was in the Freemasons.
