Canola oil is hydrogenated oil from genetically modified rapeseed. "There have been NO long term viable studies done on GMO canola oil, but there are reports on the internet that it has caused many kidney, liver, and neurological health issues. This would make sense since there are other reports that GMO products like corn and soy also can cause negative health effects."

What exactly is a "canola"? I've been avoiding it for years and am surprised that it's still an ingredient in many "health store" items.
We can get non-GMO, no growth hormone dairy products but you won't find that kind of milk at Starbucks.
