I was actually working on an Elvis is alive thing and when I had some audio recordings digitally checked, they was all "negative". I tried to confirm his still being alive "theory" That didn't work as I suffered the wrath of some "alivers" out there that are on serious meds. Either way, you make "enemies". I have contact with real Elvis family members and everything. It doesn't look good for the King. There are also too many unanswered questions too. You have to understand, they used that as a comic relief moment. To break up the tension. It's a film making technique to break up the suspense. I've studied film making for a long time now and can say with confidence it was just a plot device used to take the viewer on the emotional roller coaster of film. You have to bring some smiles to a movie as serious as this and this was one of those moments. Consider too, they are just kids in the movie so, it is plausible that kids would do that :)
