When arriving at the Chula Vista Station, the witness and her husband were surprised to see a Border Patrol truck and a caravan of 5 vans leaving the station and heading to San Diego.

"A truck came through and we thought there might be vans behind them. We started following them on the freeway as they took I-5 north. We were like, 'Ok, they are going to airport.' We got off the freeway in downtown San Diego. The drivers realized we were following them and they started trying to lose us, driving in and out of traffic. They pulled into the courthouse which is close to the airport and the Greyhound station. They pulled into the government parking only where we could no longer see what they were doing."
