Thank you for your comments James Roberts,
I agree National socialism (I never considered them to be socialist) is not near communism. The facts that communist based forces had and was continuing to under mind the economy and government of German is the reason why so many of them got to spend the war in the internment camps. (sounds familiar) I have read both, my struggle and the communist manifesto. By far My struggle made far more sense than the communist manifest which seemed to be a bunch of intellectual dribble about nothing. Time magazine had Hitter on their front cover as man of the year for the economic miracle of Germans financial recovery. Ya I don't want a Mad Max world ether. 8)
Actually a friend on a libertarian forum (now defunct) called Liberty Forum (.org) made up the term. All viewpoints were welcome, and because various disparate types took them up on the offer, we used to get crazy numbers of views from the public, despite not that many members. I don't believe in a political circle. National Socialism is definitely NOT next to Communism, or the same thing, in essence. You don't see pics of families in Nazi Germany standing in lines for hours to get a pound of flour. Hitler ended the fed in Germany, Communism has a private central bank as a main plank in the Communist Manifesto.
Anyway, I debated libertarians all the time there, and the idea I got from all of them is that there wouldn't even be any police, you would either rely on your own gun, or if you had enough resources, private security. It'd be Mad Max land in no time. Most people aren't aspiring to be Stefan Molyneux. We have to be pragmatic, to some extent.
Thanks for the comments James Roberts, No government is anarchy. This is the first time I have come across the term Libertopianiam, if you made that up, well done sir. If the pollical spectrum was a circle with a limited constitutional republic at the bottom and anarchy at the top I would say we are on the upper left of that clock. About 10 or 11. Democracy is total mob rule and the democrats are pushing toward anarchy every day. the extreme right winger at this point maybe at the bottom of that circle. Minimum government with the maximum responsibility placed upon the citizen and the most freedom. The problem we face is most people are too damn domesticated to the cages they live in and would not survive a return to a republic.Â
Libertopianism is not right wing. They're for open borders, etc. Plus, it would never work. No govt? None at all?
