Iowans’ Message to Obama: ‘We Did Build This’

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — President Obama received a less than warm welcome and a warning upon arrival at the airport here on the second stop of his Iowa visit, which was aimed at recapturing some of the magic the state gave his run to the White House in 2008.

Greeting Air Force One as it touched down under sunny skies and sultry heat was  a hand-painted banner draped across the top of an airplane hangar that reads, “Obama Welcome to SUX – We Did Build This.” “SUX” is the airport code for Sioux City.

The message appeared to be a response President Obama’s “you didn’t build that” remark from a July campaign rally, when he was trying to explain that government — not businesses — constructed public infrastructure on which the economy relies. Republicans have used the four words to attack Obama as out of touch with the realities of owning and operating a small business.

The banner is a reminder that this part of the state remains hotly contested turf for both Obama and his Republican rival Mitt Romney, just as the campaign enters the home stretch.

Sioux City, which sits on the border with Nebraska in the northwest corner of the state, is territory Obama lost in 2008 to Sen. John McCain, even though he won the state overall.  Obama won 49 percent of the vote here to McCain’s 50 percent, a difference of just 500 votes.

Obama also won the Iowa caucuses, an early confirmation that his message was resonating with Democrats.

This time around, the president’s campaign believes it can turn the Sioux City region blue by appealing to middle class values and highlighting the administration’s record of tax cuts for small businesses and families.

Chesterfield rejects Michelle Obama's bid to speak at county school

First Lady Michelle Obama had sought to speak at a Chesterfield County elementary school during her campaign swing through Virginia today, but county school leaders rejected her request, citing school policy, a Chesterfield supervisor has confirmed.

“I do believe and think that Mrs. Obama, the first lady, should be allowed to attend a Chesterfield school,” said Dale District Supervisor Jim Holland, who confirmed the Obama campaign request. “I know it’s not school policy. However, I just do not agree with that, because I think it’s an honor for the first lady to visit a school. That’s just my personal opinion as supervisor."

Chesterfield schools officials refused to discuss the Obama campaign’s request or even confirm whether a request had been made. School system spokesman Shawn Smith did not reply to two email inquiries about the matter Wednesday until after the Times-Dispatch contacted School Board Chairman Patricia M. Carpenter.

“We respectfully decline to comment,” Smith said in an email.

Gasoline Prices More than Double Under Obama: $1.84 to $3.85

(CNSNews.com) – Average retail gasoline prices have more than doubled under President Obama, according to government statistics, rising from $1.84 per gallon to $3.85 per gallon.

The average gasoline price is calculated by the Energy Information Agency, and shows that over the past 43 months of President Obama’s term retail gasoline prices have more than doubled, rising from an average of $1.84 per gallon to $3.85 per gallon.

Rising gasoline prices were particularly prevalent in August, which saw a 9.0 percent rise in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for gasoline, a rise that almost entirely accounts for the general increase in prices seen by families across the country over the past month.

Shot fired at Denver Obama campaign office

DENVER - Denver police are looking for a person who shot at a field campaign office for President Obama in Denver Friday afternoon.

Police spokeswoman Raquel Lopez says there were people inside at the time of the 3:00 p.m. shooting, but no one was hit.

The bullet shattered a window at the West 9th Avenue office, causing an unknown amount of damage.

Lopez says investigators are looking at surveillance video but have not yet confirmed a description of a vehicle that might be linked to the shooting. Police didn't immediately release other details while detectives pursue leads.

Today, there are reports from Virginia, a battleground state, that a congressman’s son was caught on tape disclosing plans to cast 100 fraudulent ballots by using false identification.
In North Carolina, several “malfunctioning” machines being used for early voting were allegedly changing Romney votes to Obama votes.
There are widespread reports that radical groups are preparing flyers to place on vehicles in church parking lots throughout the battleground states on the Sunday before the election.  These deceitful flyers would question whether Christians should vote for a Mormon and advise the “right thing to do” is not to vote at all.
And in central Florida, Republican voters have reportedly gotten letters advising them they are not properly registered and should not try to vote on Election Day.

Today a trial was conducted in Indianapolis Indiana on the issue of Daclaratory relief and injunctive relief due to Obama's use of forged Birth Certificate, Selective Service Certificate and a fraudulently obtained Connecticut Social Security number 042-68-4425.

Presiding Judge is a superior court Judge  Sherry K. Reid. For the Plaintiffs appeared attorneys Orly Taitz and local Indiana counsel Greg Black. For the defense appeared  Deputy Attorney General Kenneth Joel and Deputy attorney general Jefferson Garn.

Over an extremely rigorous objection by the defense, Judge Reid admitted into evidence exhibits and testimony of witnesses Paul Irey and Felicito Papa.

Mr. Papa testified that he graduated from the Indiana Institute of Technology had some 20 years of experience with Adobe Illustrator program. He testified that Obama''s birth certificate opened in Adobe illustrator in 9 layers, which means that this is a document, which underwent computer manipulation. Mr. Papa testified that it cannot be a genuine document, as in 1961 there was no Adobe Illustrator. Birth certificates in 1961 were created not on the computer, but with a typewriter. He stated his opinion that this is a forgery. His exhibits, showing layers within the document, were admitted into evidence.

Mr. Paul Irey testified that he has 57 years of experience working for NSA and later advertising, typesetting and computer graphics programs.

Mr. Irey testified that Obama's alleged birth certificate is a computer generated forgery.

Mr. Irey had a large board with exhibits, where he showed enlargements of all the letters in Obama's birth certificate. He vividly demonstrated that letters came from different typesetting, which in itself is a proof of forgery.

Additionally Mr. Irey testified that when a document is printed with a typewriter, the spaces between the letters are the same, however in Obama's birth certificate the spacing varies, which is a sign of forgery.

Mr. Irey also testified that there is a white halo around letters in Obama's birth certificate, which can exist oly as a result of computer manipulation. Mr. Irey testified that Obama's birth certificate is a computer generated forgery.

Decision by the court is expected within a week.

I see a way to do this without violence, and 5% of American citizens could force these issues to be addressed within 30

days. It actually is very simple, simply slow down traffic to a crawl everywhere, on every road and highway nationwide. Before you say it cannot work, think of the effect on tax revenues to the city, county, and state. If a massive, ongoing

traffic jam were to be caused by a small percentage of citizens, it is going to impact local to federal tax income. This can snarl the big cities all the way up to the national highways. A driver alone, or with others simply slows down to

a crawl, which forces traffic to come to the same speed. If it is done by many individuals, it will cause a huge mess in

traffic. People are slow to work, commerce is brought to a halt, and the whole system grinds down to a trickle of movement.

Given the construction of our roads, it will be almost impossible to stop this being done. If a coordinated group were to

do this at several locations in any given area, the effect would be to bring traffic down to a crawl. Multiply this by

every state, and officials would be forced to listen.
