As the Future Draws Ever Near
Disillusion is my friend
I know it will be there to the bitter end
Disillusion this message it sends
Failure never seems to end,
My hats off to those who overcome
They succeed and they’re never glum
Like a guitar you want to strum
They never give up they’re never done,
They say good fortune and luck are one
Overlook the rain to see the sun
Let out your child and have some fun
Forget about being under the gun,
Pursue your dreams don’t be afraid
So what if she left and should have stayed
You lost everything even though you prayed
Tragedy of this world you can’t evade,
Allow your hopes to override your fears
Even when it seems trouble is here
Let your sorrows become souvenirs
For the success of overcoming tears,
I’m heading out in a rocket plane
Leaving behind all those who are insane
All those efforts once in vain
Now I have everything to gain,
Such a vision you must hold dear
Hold all your loved ones oh so near
Tell your spouse you love them make it clear
As the future draws ever near.

~ and it shows it's possible to just step out of the empty world and into the world you Imagine and the sun will shine on you. My friend who's in her later years always talked about her love for horses and how she dreamed of riding bareback along the beach but was house bound often when not well. Yesterday she phoned saying she won a bid on a small farmlet out of the blue and will be bringing in 2 horses with her when she moves to the new home. She told me When I'm not resting you'll know where I'll be. Just like that because someone had posted up an inspiration quote.
