COLUMBUS (James Jackson) -- Many Central Ohio families, who couldn't use their EBT card to buy groceries will be glad to know the issue has been resolved and the systems are back online.
According to a statement from Xerox, beneficiary access to programs such as SNAF, TANF, and other programs has been restored to the 17 states where Xerox provides EBT service, including Ohio.
Earlier Saturday, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services said the state's cash and food assistance card payment systems went down around 11 am. Later, the cash system came back online, but the EBT system was still down.
