There have been a series of changes recently at this website, all of them seem to be geared toward shutting down certain types of discussions. I was banned for insisting that asking about Jeff Bauman's miraculous survival was a legitimate medical question - based on my medical training and back up with the opinion of an orthopedic surgeon.
I suspect the site has been sold, and the former owner is now just there for the sake of keeping up appearances. He posts the most banal topics now, and rather than "strike the root" of the tyranny beast, he is now stopping all disucssion of Israel, unless you can prove to him that you live there. This comment is in the reply section of the thread:

I have created a new law: The only people who are allowed to talk about Israel on here are people who live in Israel (and that must be proven to me to my satisfaction).
This is a new and special rule, promulgated by the Mayor of the Daily Paul, Michael Nystrom."
Further down, he explains the rationale:

I sincerely hope this is merely a sign that Nystrom sold his site and not that he truly does not understand why a discussion of Israel needs to be had, even if it bores him. I am honestly a little worried about him, something happened after Boston. But losing this website to the Israel-firsters is a serious blow to truth, and a sad thing to see happen to a friend.
