I am trying to determine amount of devaluation aka loss of purchasing power of the dollar due to previous quantitative easing aka printing worthless money to balance an unbalanced budget.

As you might expect, the FED is not cooperating in directing me to these numbers and/or sources for these numbers.

This quote is from a letter to the editor of the Greene-News in Virginia #VA

"The two $600 billion devaluations of the dollar ("quantitative easing") of 2008-10 and 2011 each reduced the wealth of every man, woman and child by an average of $19,108, and a third devaluation is certainly coming soon. Fortunately for us, much of the U.S. currency is owned by other countries, so we get to spread around this joy. This is clearly a tax, and has bipartisan support." But the writer offers no sources nor method of calculationi for his data.

Does anyone know or have sources that indicate that #QE1 and #QE2  each devalued the dollar by $600Billion dollars?  I can't make the math work.  

Next, $19,108 per every person in the USA.

Is there some more complex calculation to arrive at these numbers?

Anybody have any estimates on dollar evaluation on #QE3.  My sources says #FED intends to devalue dollar 33% by 2020.
