If 2012 was indeed ramping up you would think there would be some obvious signs other than what one politician and millions on the web have to say.
So, this morning I set out to see what I could dig up on earths recent activity to see if anything looked out-of-place.
First I decided to go look at earthquakes that took place since December 1, 2012 and related news.
I found that Friday a massive 7.3 earthquake was recorded off the coast of Japan which initially triggered a tsunami warning that was later lifted.
The Wall Street Journal reported;
The quake at 5:18 p.m. was centered off Miyagi prefecture, the same area as the massive March 11, 2011, 9-magnitude quake that devastated the region and left more than 18,000 dead or missing.
The Japan Meteorological Agency said the latest quake could be considered an aftershock of that and was the biggest since July 10 when another 7.3-magnitude struck along the same fault line.
“It brought back the memories of the March earthquake. It felt very long, almost like two minutes,” said Emiko Chiba, who runs the Sakari Ryokan inn in Ishinomaki in the prefecture.
“The shaking was not as big as last time, but I felt scared.”
The quake could be felt as far away as the southern island of Kyushu, more than 600 miles from Ms. Chiba’s inn, officials said.
News of this quake brought back memories of the devastating event that triggered the Fukushima Nuclear Disaster in Japan.
I then decided to pull up some more data. The following earthquakes have taken place in the last 7 days as reported by the USGS;
It is interesting that we had 4 earthquakes over 5.5 in magnitude take place within the last week but not enough data to say that these are the effects of some sort of 2012 type anomaly.
I quickly moved on to look for more information including whether or not there had been any changes in weather patterns noticed throughout the world.
Weather patterns have also been ever-changing.
Steve Bennish writes;
Research scientists and others studying the Earth’s climate say global warming could be linked to a signature weather pattern seen around the world that possibly contributed to this year’s drought and the ferocity of Hurricane Sandy.
Some evidence indicates climate changes are pulling jet stream air flows into a more north-to-south pattern rather than west-to-east, intensifying atmospheric blocking from the high pressure zones that are created.
The zones block weather in place for a longer period.
The implications are powerful: An increase in blocking patterns could in turn increase the frequency of extreme weather.
Blocking air flows for lengthy periods lets wet weather soak some parts of the nation while dry areas stay dry from lack of rainfall. A high pressure zone was present during the unusually warm March this year.
All 88 counties in Ohio qualified for federal emergency drought programs after the hot summer.
It’s the worst drought period since the Dust Bowl of the 1930s, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Climatic Data Center.
With Sandy, a high-pressure zone near Greenland pushed the storm onto land and also intensified it with cold air. Without the block, it would have gone out to sea.
The same blocking pattern was noted in the 2010 Russian heat wave and simultaneous massive Pakistan floods, both of which killed thousands.
The flooding covered at least 14,390 square miles between July 28 and Sept. 16, 2010. The Russian heat wave and wildfires occurred 1,500 miles away. A blocking system is also linked to Europe’s killer 2003 heat wave, blamed for tens of thousands of deaths.
Are weather patterns changing due to a 2012 doomsday-like scenario forming before our eyes (such as Planet X moving in closer to earth), or are the environmental changes byproducts of worldwide geoengineering (chemtrailing) programs and atmospheric testing programs which have been extensively documented by researchers such as Michael Murphy (a documentary filmmaker) and others?
Still I found myself hitting a brick wall in terms of researching this matter, as the information is just not there to back up such a doomsday event.
I quickly moved on to find that people in China, Russia, and the Ukraine are panic buying surplus goods, candles, and storable survival supplies in fear of a 2012 doomsday type event.
DK Matai writes;
Hundreds of thousands of Russians and Ukrainians have been stocking up on survival goods, including canned food, cereals and matches, ahead of the impending apocalypse.
Russia saw people in Omutninsk — Kirov region — rushing to buy fuel and supplies after a newspaper article by a Tibetan monk confirmed the end of the world. In Tomsk, Siberia, storekeepers are selling “emergency kits” — for about $30 — that include food, candles, matches, soap, and even games. Novokuznetsk city faced a run on salt.
Near the Altai Mountains panic-buyers snapped up all the torches and thermos flasks. Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov said in a statement, “It has been proved conclusively that global catastrophes take place at intervals of between 10 million and 15 million years,” so there is no need to worry. Dmitry Medvedev, the Russian prime minister, addressed the doomsday situation thus: “I don’t believe in the end of the world.” Before adding somewhat whimsically: “At least, not this year!”
At least one Russian official took a humorous slant on the doomsday matter: “The end of the world has already started in some regions.
There is not so much as a minute of daylight in Murmansk or Norilsk,” said Roman Vilfand, head of the meteorological service in Moscow. Failing to clarify that in these extreme northern latitudes, permanent darkness is as normal as the winter solstice in December!”
Could this be governments or globalists pushing propaganda onto the masses in order to create this fear or is this a genuine feeling by the populace that something is coming?
An excerpt from the Market Oracle reads, “The Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard has filmed a tongue-in-cheek video that says, yes, the Mayans were right and the world is really about to come to an end.
In an attempt to exterminate the hysteria, the US Government confirms we will live past 2012 and the USA.gov website has published a blog post stating that “the world will not end on December 21st, 2012, or any day in 2012.”
The US government’s decision to debunk the end-of-the-world myth is a tacit recognition that this issue is now ingrained in the collective consciousness of a vast number of American citizens.”
