VISAKHAPATNAM: A single lightning strike killed a shepherd and about 50 cattle at Injari panchayat of Pedabayalu mandal in Alluri Seetarama Raju district on Wednesday. Though lightning-related deaths are common in many parts of Andhra Pradesh, this is the first time that in a single incident a large herd of 50 buffaloes died along with the shepherd.
