Interesting study.... makes one think if this could be one big experiment. Meaning that if Japan started to make their own such experiments the same time Fukushima went up in smoke it might get too much publisity in even mainstream news or not to mention lacal media there. What would the odds be that scientists conducted radioactive/chemical/microbiology experiments on seeds/crops/animals and humans and then a major incident actually occurs just in time so they test if it works. Then it comes quite conveniently that a "massive" outbreak of E-coli/VTEC just rumbles through the western european countries that all blames eachother, for then to conclude it was aprox. 2000 spanish cucumbers that were to blame and people could relax again and it wouldnt happen ever again.

I think the VTEC was designed in a laboratory and i think i might as well (i dont see why not) a part of a series of tests to see its "practical" purposes and not in such a scale that people woundnt get any suspision about the whole deal.

I dont wanna sound like some über conspiracy nut but these incidents whatever might be almost always happen either at almost the same time or exactly the same time and the odds for that no matter what is unimagineable.
