The Briton who died of Ebola-like symptoms did not have Ebola, a German laboratory has said.

The Briton was reportedly consuming large quantities of alcohol and Formaldehyde or methanal, which has been reported in water poisoning incidents in Liberia.  Formaldehyde is soluble in water and alcohol.

Was he a victim of a similar toxic attack like those in Liberia?
