IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED : Bivalent vaccines are now de-authorized - please remove from active inventory
Good Morning All
As part of the FDA action yesterday the current Bi-valent vaccines were deauthorized. Please ensure that they are removed from all active inventory including in nursing units; also please work with vaccine group to ensure these vaccines are properly reported for wastage. These were the last of the federally funded vaccines; going forward we will be purchasing and the waste reporting for the feds will no longer be required.
