Who wrote this brain-dead headline intro to the video?  Although all true legal and moral law is on the side of the Second Amendment, it was CRUZ who allowed himself to be continually upstaged, shut down, distracted, and otherwise MAULED by his arrogant opponent, not the other way around.  Even Cruz's choice of arguments were among the worst and least effective and least compelling possible -- Ted Nugent and hundreds of other able spokesmen and spokeswomen could have done a better job.  GET REAL.

So if it wasn't the Daily Caller that re-slanted the intro . . it must have been you?

Ah, now I understand . . contrary to your first reply, it was NOT the Daily Caller presentation that used the bizarre lead-in, but rather the Townhall.com site that did so.  I just went there and posted this comment (a slightly amplified edition of my comment to you):

I am totally amazed that anyone could dare to write such an brain-dead and biased headline intro to this video -- and equally perplexed at all the comments here that seem to agree that Cruz "won" the encounter. Although all true legal and natural/moral weight is irrefutably implicit to the Second Amendment, it was CRUZ who allowed himself to be continually upstaged, shut down, distracted, and otherwise MAULED by his arrogant opponent, not the other way around. Even Cruz's choice of arguments were among the worst and least effective and least compelling possible -- Ted Nugent and hundreds of other able spokesmen and spokeswomen could have done a FAR better job. It was almost as if Cruz was playing a pre-planned "controlled opposition" role, wherein all he could do (or was instructed to do) was to grin sheepishly and allow Scarborough to trample all over him, virtually throughout the "limited hang out" half-assed farce of a "debate." GET REAL. Any impartial viewer would NOT regard Cruz's performance or rhetoric as somehow "mauling" Scarborough -- who managed to almost effortlessly grab 80% or more of the screen time over Cruz's pathetic wimp-out, smile-and-shut-up repeated concessions to Scarborough.
