"In 1989 Kent Hovind and his wife Jo had begun a ministry to educate Christians that they did not evolve from monkeys but rather were made in the image of God, in a six-day creation as spelled out in the Bible.

The Hovind's faced a squadron of IRS agents and police officers, who with guns drawn, raided Creation Science Evangelism in the morning hours on April 14, 2004. Some $40,000 was stolen from the ministry safe that day."

On January 19, 2007, Hovind was sentenced to ten years in prison and ordered to pay the federal government restitution of over $600,000.

Much of the things we discuss and see on this site, or have heard from Alex Jones, with respect of the New World Order; I had heard about first from Kent Hovind...I thought a discussion page featuring his videos might be appropriate for Christians on this site...

Creation and Evolution are BOTH religious theories...nobody was there to witness "the beginning"...(except the Creator)...

Anyway, in the name of free speech, Hovind's plight is interesting in the fact that he seems a political prisoner because he is so persuasive, well studied as to how to run his ministry(having studied IRS code relevant to his situation)...if you don't agree with his theory or positions/Christian perspective, accept he is human and fallible also...and...live and let live...

While in prison, he has led literally dozens to Christ, and he has blogged that he is revisiting his eschatology positions as well...again, we are all teachable, and we should all be seeking knowledge and wisdom daily...never plateau, never be arrogant, never be self-assured; especially if you reject the existence of a single Creator of all persons on the Earth.
