Kremlin Denies Putin Discussed Syria Deal with Saudi Spy Chief
"Moscow has said 'no' to a Saudi proposal to drop the Syrian government in exchange of a rich arms deal and protection of Russia’s gas interests in the Middle East," media reports mentioned.
This is curious- protection of Russia's gas interests in the ME from whom?

Saudi Arabia... If we ever had legitimate cause to enter any foreign country to wage our war on terror, it would Saudi Arabia. Nearly all attacks that led to and keep us in this "war" are either Saudi's or funded by Saudi groups. Even so, holding SA responsible for these acts has never been even a remote possibility. Its as if our govt wants a constant flow of well trained and funded "terrorists" to remain, or something. Latest here: http://www.rferl.org/content/yemen-saudis-drones-alqaeda/25071630.html
So if the offer of arms sales and protection of Russian interests in the ME was made by SA, I can't imagine the US govt didn't know about it, or perhaps even encouraged it. And that because Obama is not as nearly tore up about what to do about Syria as he says he is.
See how that works?

In one fell-swoop, however, the Saudi gaffe-machine has blown a giant hole in the Western narrative over Syria. This is not the first time that the Saudi loose cannon has swung around on its Western patrons. A few months back, a Saudi “thinker” close to the House of Saud let it slip to the media that a top concern motivating Riyadh’s interference in Syria was to neutralize the regional influence of Iran.
In the meeting between Prince Bandar and Vladimir Putin, the Saudi spy chief went on to say that “whatever regime comes after” Assad will be “completely” in Saudi hands.
So, there you have it. It’s not about supporting democracy in Syria. It’s about installing a regime in Damascus that will be under the boot of Riyadh, which in turn, means that any such regime will be under the geopolitical control of Washington and its allies, and thus aligned in the imperialist axis of antagonism against Tehran.
