Martial Law in Arkansas?
In a supposed response to increased crime rates in Paragould, Arkansas, Police Chief Todd Stovall and Mayor Mike Gaskill have teamed up to back a horrific plan with the aim of creating a new force of a walking militarized police unit virtually declaring martial law over the city.
According to an article in the paragoulddailypress, beginning in early 2013 armed police officers dressed in protective gear will routinely walk the streets of Paragould in an effort to lower the high crime rates. Their plan includes stopping everyone they see, asking for their ID, and interrogating the population in hopes of collecting information and leads on crime to 'snuff' out crime.
"[Police are] going to be in SWAT gear and have AR-15s around their neck," Stovall said. "If you're out walking, we're going to stop you, ask why you're out walking, check for your ID."
"We're going to do it to everybody," he said. "Criminals don't like being talked to."
Going even further in backing him up, Mayor Gaskill backed up the Chiefs ideology by saying, "They may not be doing anything but walking their dog," he said. "But they're going to have to prove it."

Giving your 'I.D' is SAYING your name and your address. Now, that is giving your I.D. That is all you have to do. If you're not behind a vehicle, you don't need to carry any kind of physical I.D. If you're 'not being detained' then you may walk away. That is the law as far as I know.

This must be the new line. While at Target in Knoxville last week at the check out line I noticed 4 Bic lighters at a cheap price so I grabbed them. The cashier, after scanning the lighters, ask to see my driver's license. It kind of puzzled me enough I wanted to see what she was going to do, so I show her. She wanted them pulled from my billfold, so I did, and she scanned a bar code on the back. She smiled and told me she was a former cop and by scanning the bar code she knew everything about me, employment, criminal record, etc, etc. I said that was an awful lot of info for a 4 pack of bic lighters, someone must be bored, my whole record is 2 speeding tickets and 3 unavoidable accidents. "People with clean records don't care but people with something to hide would." I told her actually I do care and asked what if I was good enough at being bad I just haven't been caught.
Take note Target. I don't care for Walmart either, but I'll be damned if I ever go back in Target for anything. Take note Knoxville, Bristol is just as close, but it won't be Target there either.

I got out administratively. So far, it's working. I don't know how long it will work though. THEY wanted income tax from me. One document took care of that. It worked so well that they don't even take the money out of my paycheck anymore. It's all about jurisdiction. It's about who you are. If your status is US citizen/person, you're screwed. You're bound by voluntary contract.
