MERCK: Just ONE of Big Pharma's Drug/Vaccine Companies Earned $9.04 BILLION for 1st Quarter of 2015
Merck & Co. (NYSE:MRK) last announced its earnings results on Tuesday, April 28th. The company reported $0.85 earnings per share for the quarter, beating the analysts’ consensus estimate of $0.75 by $0.10.
Merck had revenue of $9.40 BILLION for the "Quarter", compared to the consensus estimate of $9.04 billion.
During the same quarter last year, the company posted $0.88 earnings per share. Merck & Co.’s revenue was down 8.2% compared to the same quarter last year. Analysts expect that Merck & Co. will post $3.44 EPS for the current fiscal year.
