A 10-day air offensive by Syrian forces against rebel areas of divided Aleppo city and nearby villages has killed more than 400 people, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Wednesday. By Tuesday night, the toll since December 15 from air strikes and a bombing campaign stood at 410, AFP reported, citing the group’s statement. Those killed reportedly include 117 children, 34 women, 30 rebel fighters and nine jihadists. There was no immediate information on other casualties.
