Good thinking - I had an idea for a Barter Ring yesterday. I always write these ideas in public. Someone might stumble across them. Did you know Thomas Paine was born to the Mennonites? Was looking for books for my reader and fell on to a bunch of Paine, Freddie Nietzsche and other thinkers. Now I guess I should read all of it

Great idea, i tried that after leaving the Polcie force here in australa, Then I had my capital equipment stolen ( my fxrt sportglide 1991 model) so then went to tech and did a rigging and dogging course, plus others, and whilst working in a local mine got my left foot crushed, got 3 grand compo and that was that brought a computor a chair to sit in, Big deal. Now im on the pension living on a budget trying to raise my son, at least get him to finish his education Year 10 instead of smoking the weed.., and where are the jobs.. its fine if u have one (the song desiterata comes to mind) Ide become a journalist but they dont even want my postings cause they are controlled by Packer and Murdock.. Report what you see. When I had to stop working on my feet I learned how to write enough html to build a website. Now I have a place to write. Feel free to use what I've built to report original material or observations. Plus there are all the good places like 12160.

I just put a forum on my website and titled it ""free article submissions and discussion". I wanted to let people get the benefit of writing articles and getting links without going through the hassle usually associated with submissions. I guess I could put up a job posting service - but the idea is that the (local) communities would support each other (?).
None of these ideas, if started today, would be in full swing tomorrow. Communities that have a tradition of self sufficiency have a tradition of teaching their people how to be self sufficient. For me, I just do what I can to help flood the internet and the people here with info and ideas. If I was ask what I thought the future holds for mankind I couldn't say. There's the survival instinct thing - but there's that "mine" thing. It's very likely most of us, or the human species itself, might not make it. If you have ideas I'll be glad to give them as much exposure as I can.

In opposition to the corporate worlds systematic poisoning of children, some people are creating alternative nutritious school lunch programs of their own. A 74% reduction in violence - just by changing a persons diet? That's something worth thinking about. What if it was an adult nations lunch program?
