Police: Hammond man says CIA told him to kill his father
HAMMOND | A Hammond man is in custody after claiming the CIA told him to kill his father, police said.
David Brooks Sr., 44, was stabbed to death Sunday night at his home in the 1500 block of 169th Street, Hammond Police Chief Brian Miller said.
Neighbors contacted police around 10:15 p.m. Sunday after they saw someone rolling up a carpet and trying to take Brooks' body out of the home, Miller said.
