The Most Important Event for Ron Paul: Ames Straw Poll, August 13th, 2011
Have you ever heard someone tell you, “I like Ron Paul, but he can’t win”?
If Ron Paul wins the Ames straw poll everything changes. It is the single most important, strategic, and easily achievable endeavor of the entire campaign. If we get 7,500 Iowans to the straw poll to vote for Ron Paul we'll make the rest of Iowa believe Ron Paul can win and launch Ron Paul to the top of the 2012 Republican race.
Every candidate that has gone on to win the Iowa Caucus has finished in the top two of the Ames Straw Poll. The win in Ames will energize supporters in Iowa and across the country. There will be a snowball effect that should propel Ron Paul to win the Iowa Caucus and soon after the Live Free or Die state of New Hampshire. All 48 other states will depend on the results of Iowa and New Hampshire. Hence the most important event of the entire campaign is the Ames Straw Poll.
How can you help? There are plenty of efforts underway.
