A ten-year-old Norwegian girl participated Saturday morning in an Text message competition in the programme 'Mess-TV' on TVNorge.
The girl said both name and age, yet told host Laila Robe Ludvigsen, the girl could win a 'survival package for autumn'.
The package consisted of a so-called finger vibrator, which was shown on the screen several times.
Despite the fact that TVNorge (TV Norway) has an age limit in its Text message competitions at age 16, the host would grant the vibrator to the ten-year-old girl.
Shortly before the end the host realized the error and granted victory to the 33-year-old competitor.
TVNorges information director Jens-Petter Gjelseth regret the feature and says that 'Mess-TV'-editors have been given clear guidance on when it is permissible to expose sex-articles in the programs.
- No children under 16 years old will compete to win sexarticles in our programs. Especially when the feature will be shown on a time when many children are watching television, says Gjelseth to VG.
Enterprise Rubicon, which makes chat program TVNorge, has previously provoked and offended viewers.
Last year, viewers experience a live strip show.
In January this year, viewers are invited to submit names of known homosexuals.
In February showed the program an erected penis. In March simulated host oral sex, and two weeks ago, a program manager fired after racist comments live on television.
