It has, from its creation, acted criminally and with impunity because the world fears being accused of antisemitism. That Jews are so very different from the rest of humans that they must have their own country- that the rest of humanity has always been and will always be so innately evil that they cannot be trusted to interact with Jews justly and rightly- should be offensive to all as it is the most racist contention that could be asserted. And we fell for it.
So we go from today. The fact remains there are more Jews living outside of Israels borders than within. This without their torture and murder for what they are- but the same cannot be said for non-Jews in Israel. Many find this abhorrent and unacceptable, but it remains to be said: The victim has become the victimizer. And what about that? Imagine the most violent, torturous rape a woman could endure and still live to tell her story. If she were to commit violent crimes against, not her rapist, but others, because she was resolved that she would never suffer it again. Never again. Surely the authorities would make clear to her that although what happened to her was wrong, victimizing others did nothing to heal her, harmed others and otherwise played no role in a functioning society. She would be jailed if she didn't stop. Would that be anti-woman?
There is no exact comparison to be made, but I personally can think of no other genetically distinct group historically that has been more victimized than women. You can agree or not. The important point is that no individual or group can be made whole by allowing them to commit the wrongs that they have endured. And EVEN if we entertained such a notion, wouldn't we be smacked back to reality that the harm done to the 2nd victim is no less than what was endured by the first? And that based on the universal premise that all humans are of equal value?
What if it wasn't only the woman who was raped, but her daughter and grandaughter, who did not suffer the crime first-hand, but have been told they too will suffer that fate should they not see themselves as perpetual and inherent victims? That they can only trust other women, and only "real" women? We could say that is not a workable response even though we accept that there will still be crimes committed against women. We can agree there is a problem and strive to change things, but reject outright such a sick and ultimately ineffective way of dealing with it.
And surely, over time, being left unchecked, the victim-become-victimizer would act, not from the emotional damage of the crimes committed against them, but impunity that their acts would only be criticized by those who advocate their suffering.
Whatever motivates individuals to remain silent can surely be overcome by being forced to endure an absolute and shear pain. The strongest constitution can be broke with the simplest torture techniques. What goes on inside Israels borders lead to the cries and pleas we hear, from- not weak people, not insane people, but from people who can do nothing buy cry out. Their cries are no less pained and begging, angry or wanting than any other cries that have pierced the ether. Those in the position to stop the suffering either hear the cries of a lesser being, or believe it serves even a higher purpose than that of humanity. I reject them both.
An impertinent message will one day, hopefully soon, be heard in Israel and throughout the world. It will relay to those who promoted, protected and benefited the "Jewish State" that what what has been placed upon their plate is not because they are Jewish, but because they are wrong. Perhaps then, if we are fortunate, there will be healing- a oneness among humanity.

Bless his heart. I was thinking the same thing. Young people from foreign countries believe in what our country is about. Not what it does at present. That should give us a second wind if nothing else does.
Very well written Frances, I'd just like to make one point, that is the fact of people claiming to be descendants of the Biblical Hebrew Israelites and calling themselves Jews toady are certainly not the race they claim to be.
There are only 2 of the original 12 tribes that can claim any measurable DNA in existence today,
I won't ramble on any longer as I have much research to conduct oh other subjects.
