There is One GOD of everybody on Earth whether He is recognized or not! Jesus74 was Jewish74, yet, he and his disciples taught that the Gentiles have the same GOD. "GOD is not an Israelite!" Today's world is very interconnected and yet our differences regarding how we interpret GOD's desires are exaggerated through the media and Internet. Jews, Christians, and Muslims all recognize that they are 'descended' from Abraham (Avraham, Ibrahim), yet they don't seem to recognize that they are all 'Children of GOD' and 'Children of Abraham'. And how can anyone possibly argue that GOD would ever tell one of his children that its permissible to kill another of his children? Rationalizing killing is completely contrary to the belief in One GOD. Exodus 20:13, is the Commandment from GOD written down by Moses, "Thou shall not kill", yet many Bible versions - including Bible NET - have changed this to "Thou shall not murder". Where's the BIG change from non-GOD believing cultures there? Every global society prior to Moses had the law against murder.

There is a question of the wording because after the Hebrews received the 10 Commandments, they proceded to kill alot of people in order to take their land for themselves. At this time, there was one God for the Israelites, but YHWH (Yehowah) was nobody else's God. Huh? One God, but only belonging to the 12 Tribes of Israel? Yep. Even today, most devout Jews are relinquent to share G-d with Christians and definitely not with Muslims! Most Christians recognize a Judeo-Christian God, but many think that Jews who haven't accepted Jesus Christ are doomed to an eternal hell and Muslims are, too. Therefore, many have reasoned that it's Ok with God to kill Muslims (not so much Jews because the Nation of Israel is a BIG part of the prophecy of the return of the Christ).

But this controversy of "Thou shall not kill" vs. "Thou shall not murder" goes back to the two World Wars and American Civil War. How could all these Bible believing Christians kill each other so in violation of GOD's Commandment? It's my understanding as a Bible scholar that there were no English Bible translations changing the Commandment to "Thou shall not murder" until the 20th century. (Has anybody got any conflicing information?) The Authorized King James Version of the Bible states, "Thou shall not kill". The Revised Standard Version of 1885 and revised since states, "Thou shall not kill".

Does Jesus himself answer this question? It depends which Bible translation you want to follow. He says in Matthew 10:28, "Do not fear those that kill the body but cannot kill the soul." Also, "The kingdom of heaven has suffered violence and the violent take it by force" - Matthew 11:12. The violent are killers - the Romans and King Herod I and Herod II. "Teacher, what good deed must I do to have eternal life?" - Matt 19:16. "Keep the Commandments, do not kill" - Mt 19:18. And then the Messiah74 is asked, "What's the most important Commandment?" "First, love GOD with all your heart, all your soul, and with all your mind. Second, you shall love your neighbor as yourself" - Mt 22:36-39. Well, how could that possibly be interrepted as "It's Ok to kill someone as long as long as you love them"?! Or, if the Golden Rule is, "Treat others as you would want them to treat you", then how can anyone agree that it's Ok for your neighbor to kill you, so you can kill them?! How outrageous. The reasoning behind "Thou shall not murder" is very flawed, perhaps even evil!

The reason that "Thou shall not kill" was changed in the 20th century and now in the 21st century is that it fits the agenda of those writing it and promoting it. Yet, there is One GOD of everyone and He is saying, "You are all my children and no child of mind is to kill another child of mine. If you do, you reap what you sow by breaking my Commandment. And those promoting anything contrary to my Commandment will receive double punishment." I often talk to Jews, Muslims, and Christians about many important topics, but there is none more important than this! "Jews recognize Moses as their #1 role model, Christians recognize Jesus as their #1 role model, and Muslims recognize Muhammad74 as their #1 role model. I imitate Jesus because he didn't kill anybody! And the 2nd Coming of the Christ will also kill no one although he's certainly going to be the judge47 of everyone!
