This was a mere 75 years ago....
Makes complaining about no cell service, high gasoline prices, not enough cable channels, seem a bit ludicrous. No credit cards to buy what you want, but don't need!

Forward this to remind yourself, our kids and others of what really tough times are like.
They don't have a clue.
If you don't know what the Great Depression was, here's the motto: "Use it up -- wear it out", make it do or do without!!!!!

This reminds me to be grateful for what I do have.....

Ferdinand is a passionate collector of American historical glass specializing in bitters bottles, color runs and related classic figural bottles. Ferdinand is married to Elizabeth Jane Meyer and lives in Houston, Texas with their daughter and three wonderful grandchildren. The Meyers are also very involved in Quarter Horses, antiques and early United States postage stamps.
