Who is Huguette Labelle?

In November 2005, she was appointed Chair of the Board of Directors of Transparency International.

In 1989 she was made an Officer of the Order of Canada and was promoted to Companion in 2001.

The Order of Canada (French: Ordre du Canada) is a Canadian national order, admission into which is, within the system of orders, decorations, and medals of Canada, the second highest honour for merit. In 2011, she was made a Member of the Order of Ontario.[2]
