Karl Rove, the Bush Administration advisor and strategist has written a book on his part in the dark days of the Bush days. He calls those days,'courageous', in an attempt to make him and the Bush Administration appear to be saints in the whole Iraq war affair.
But he's nothing but a profit-seeking capitalist opportunist.

Capitalist opportunism...is when you take advantage of a situation,be it good or bad from which you make big profits. Perhaps people would flock to buy a copy of a book George Bush might write one day-his memoirs called 'My Proud Moments Being The World's Most Wrong Person...' ...

Tony Blair is another one to sell memoirs on his pursuit of fame and fortune. That's what it's really about.
I wonder if those sort of war pigs really care at all, or whether they just cash in on opportunities regardless of how it makes them look. What we have are hundreds of people, some journalists, some politicians who just cash in on hell- war hell. Then we have movies released on the wars, which often don't tell you anything but just appear to be rolling footage of news reports acted out by well-paid 3rd rate actors.
No movie maker or book writer has defined any new aspect of war but has made money from the deaths of millions of innocent people and the destruction of cities, towns and villages.

I have a Facebook group , 'Before You Consider Army Recruitment, Consider this...'
where I underline many aspects of war as being a business venture by profit-seeking 'war pigs', and the group is there to hopefully deter young people away from wanting to pick up a new, shiny cold rifle and kill on behalf of their Government.  Government love to plug the fraudulent aspect that young men fight for their country. They fight for the Government, not the country.  And the way violent media, films and video games are influencing young people, future generations of young men will only want to get their hands on those  weapons, and go to kill fellow man in some war- and that is fast becoming a problem.  All those young people are not told about the business-venture that war actually is.

Schools should teach how the defence industries and gun manufacturers, oil industries and construction make billions from war, which is a driving factor to starting wars. A politician opens the door just an inch for a possible war, and the war-business ventures bust the door wide open, trampling in to plan how and when war can be capitalized upon, how the wars can be expanded, continued or sustained.  Once you let the war-pigs through that door, innocent people die in the pursuit of war-business ventures. These are the  things which young people are not taught at schools.  When you think of education as a whole, probably 50 percent of what young people think, how they act and how they perceive the World should be is dictated to them by media- movies, video games, political bravado speeches which claim to be 'winning' in war or 'implementing democracy' .  The U.S already has in infatuation with guns, and the young generations are becoming more militant by media influences in their youth.
What about youth groups, hobbies, sports and other activities which could be promoted to occupy young minds, instead of the 'bang-bang-you're dead' Rambo movies and video games which are the driving factor making young people want a cold rifle to go and kill...

Hollywood media has become extremely violent. It is almost as if violent American movies have been approved without care, purposely to drive young minds into a violent stupor. Perhaps it is a Government strategy to allow the broadcast and sales of violent influences, to grab young men's minds, to promote guns and killing in a hope of creating generations of willing killers for the Army...

American politicians, gun producers, movie makers and book writers alongside the big corporations make the money from war, and it's just one big profit-seeking venture every step of the way.
Perhaps a follow-up ,'Capitalism: A Love Story 2 ' could better explain what I'm going on about.

The gun manufacturers make a fortune around the World, cashing in on the simple, weak minded people who are obsessed with a love of guns. Perhaps it would be wise for Governments to ban the promotion of gun sales on networks, ban advertising on gun shops and see how that impacts the crime numbers. But it is probably wishful thinking. Government are not campaigners against things which harm people- if they were then campaigns against two great killers, alcohol and cigarettes would be more of a priority, but both alcohol and cigarettes account for 50 or 60 percent of tax revenue taken by Governments, and guns account for another large chunk of tax revenue. Violent movies and video games also make billions for tax revenue departments, and all these factors can potentially influence young people.

It is impossible to stop the levels of violent influences from being 'sold' to the public, and the day alcohol and cigarettes are targeted in a campaign will be the day taxes go up in other areas, because a reduction in tax revenue taken is not on the Government's cards.

So when you sit , wondering why young people are becoming more gang-orientated, more violent and confrontational, think of the influences which Government allow to be sold to the public, think of the political bravado speeches which bark down the airwaves and pep young minds for war. Think of the amount of money which Governments make from the whole violence-orientated industries and from sales of the negative products which help Governments rake in the cash.  Because that cash is not benefiting the country. In the recent recession, we see what happens to all that cash- it got used to bailout banks, to give corporate managers and many others large bonuses and the average hard working person was left on the scrap-heap, a scrap heap which is increasing year-on-year as a result of poor Government management of funds, taxes and investments.

I guess I'm writing something which everyone is aware of. Nothing new here right?
