Last year (2009) in December, Harpo Bush prorogued governement (a fancy way of saying he highjacked democracy and became a dictator ) for the second time, thus cancelling and annuling all laws and bills being introduced until the next session. Canada was trying to pass the codex/martial-law Bill C-51 at the time, but the senators seemed to be resisting due to public outcry. So down the drain that went ( for sure the next copy and attempt was already printed and prepared ), a few months went by, and then Harpo appointed himself 5 new CONSERVATIVE senators, thus replacing that opposition. Now comes Bill C-36 which appears to be more direct and blunt, promising to give military type powers to police and public officials to come and squash all attempts and countering this onslaught and surviving !
