16 Degrees is not sounding welcome around here but it is coming. Tonight we are blessed with the first snows of the season. Is it time for the snowboard!?

Jonesy, the ARRL QRP book is one I picked up from ARRL on a gift certificate I won at a Hamfest. Need some study time with it, and also with the Low Profile Ham Radio book I also picked up on that gift certificate. Weather has rapidly deteriorated so I will be looking closely at the low profile book for a down and dirty quick solution for a HF antenna, perhaps one that can be set up indoors. I have much to learn and wish I had started all of this years ago.

Minuteman, looks like snow and ice to me and reminds me of one of the reasons I don't live in Upstate New York anymore!
