TRAVERSE CITY — A Grand Traverse County case will have statewide implications after an appeals court ruled medical marijuana users can't drive with the drug in their system.

The Michigan Court of Appeals this week ruled the state's Medical Marijuana Act doesn't supersede a "zero tolerance" law that prohibits drivers from operating with any amount of marijuana in their system.
