Russians Attending Bilderberg, Oh My!
According to the Vigilant Citizen’s official list of 2012 Bilderberg attendees there were three people present from Russia, and when I noticed this I found it quite interesting to consider just who those three people were. So now, let us briefly examine these three individuals.
The first is Igor S. Ivanov, a former Russian politician who submitted his resignation to Vladimir Putin in 2007 and in 2011 was made a member of the advisory council of ‘The Hague Institute for Global Justice’.
Next is Anatoly B. Chubais also a former Russian politician and since 2008 a member of the Advisory Council for JPMorgan Chase, from 1998-2008 he was head of the state owned electric company, a post he vacated at the same time that he went on board with JPMorgan Chase.
And finally we have Garry Kasparov, a former chess champion and leader of the opposition party in Russia and a staunch opponent of Vladimir Putin, Kasparov has a habit of encouraging political unrest and protests in Russia and against Putin, but overall support for him within Russia has never been very high.
The reason it is interesting that these three men attended Bilderberg this year is because all three of them are on less-than-friendly terms with the current President, Vladimir Putin. Whether one considers Putin to be a good or bad guy, it is notable that neither he nor anyone in his immediate circle of advisors attends the Bilderberg and other similar meetings.
What is also interesting to consider is that when Vladimir Putin became the President of Russia for the first time in 2000, one of his very first priorities was to establish the ‘Stabilization Fund of the Russian Federation’, and partly using money from this fund the Russian government repaid all its outstanding foreign debts from the era of the USSR.
This act of repaying the foreign debt alleviated much of the hyperinflation which the ruble experienced throughout the 1990s. In turn, this alleviation of the national debt has allowed the beginnings of a true middle class to form in Russia.
Since the Bilderberg Group is devoted to furthering the agenda of global government and a single world order, it logically follows that the destabilization of Russia in the interest of destroying national sovereignty would be part of their agenda. Therefore, if Vladimir Putin is strengthening the Russian economy through measures such as paying down the country’s foreign debt and raising the individual standard of living for Russian citizens, he stands in stark opposition to the Bilderberg Group’s known goal of establishing a single global government.
