Following in the footsteps of liberty-minded lawmakers in Texas, some Michigan lawmakers are now considering making it a misdemeanor offense for US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents to "conduct an intrusive, personal search on citizens without reasonable cause." The proposal, which really just reaffirms what the Fourth Amendment to the US Constitution already states, represents the second attempt by a US state to restrain the TSA from illegally groping and molesting innocent travelers without just cause.
