Ever noticed how many YouTube videos are being removed by YouTube for no apparent good reason other than politically motivated censorship? Lets do something about that! Let us build a network that keeps re-uploading everything YouTube removes ;)

Re-Load videos to your own channel and show us your handy work, embed any reloads here in a comment, have fun dissidents! If you are unable to do this but have some suggested videos for reloading, please forward in a comment and I shall try to upload to my channel.
I have noticed for some time now many videos being removed by YouTube from channels in what is my opinion, for no legitimate reason. There certainly appears to be nothing objectionable in many of the files that are getting banned and removed.
It would seem that YouTube, using the mask of copyright infringement, sees fit to censor any content that it pleases or is coerced into. I recently noticed that a couple of videos in my favorites had disappeared, "This video has been removed due to terms of use violation". Specifically there were two videos, both very short segments from the US Democratic Candidates Debate of 2007, featuring Senator Mike Gravel. I realize the segments are from an MSNBC broadcast, but these videos were available for viewing on YouTube for two years and then suddenly they violated terms of service.
I'm not suggesting that we steal anyone's creative original works and upload, linking to videos for full credit is the right thing to do. But when YouTube removes content for no good reason, let us show some dissent! A media corporation cannot demand that no one dare display a minute long excerpt from one of their broadcasts in the public domain, when it is done so in a totally not for profit manner and for educational purposes.

This YouTube video channel utilizes video content that is copyright material, the use of which has not always been specifically authorized by the copyright owner. The display of and the materials in these videos have been re purposed in a manner which constitutes Fair Use as provided for in sections of US, UK and Australian Copyright Law. In accordance with those laws, these videos and the material contained within is distributed without profit for the purposes of education, research, news reporting and commenting.

Not sure Tula, maybe there is another explanation or a conspiracy against you ;) but I have just found this licensing thingy to be an issue in the past.

I have 4 Youtube channels under different names. But, the Videos I was talking about are from the US...Maybe they were loaded in another country?

What have you been banned for Blessed? I'm kind of mildly surprised that they haven't blinked an eyelid so far at all my reloads, must be a moderator there that is jacked of with them or something, letting me carry on.

A good tip Tula, (scroogle) thanks. What you have experienced often has a lot to do with licensing, some parts of the world get permissions for content while others don't. I've experienced before, watching a YouTube video, give the url to someone in London and they say YouTube says "this video not available in your country" Its the same url, regardless of which country you connect from, they just filter (block) countries that haven't paid big licensing fees.

Google tracks me to Youtube and then I can not play videos to download them but if I use schroogle or startpage to get to Youtube videos play???Weird
