Was this just a propaganda film to make our troops less anxious about the weapons they'd be using in battle or did this demonstrate the stability of the famous Thompson Machine gun that is so iconic! When I was a kid watching the show "Combat" with Vic Morrow with his Thompson, I wanted one of those so bad !
