Originally televised on 5 February 1998, this BBC documentary followed Louis Theroux as he investigated the diverse sub-culture of pre-9/11 patriots, survivalists, anti-government groups and individuals in rural Idaho.
I caught this on it's orginal airing, and it's still an interesting watch, especially on reflection in 2012.
N.B - the Safetrek music was originally REM's "It's the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine)", it was replaced in later broadcasts by Iron Maiden's 'Run To The Hills'
