    Good Thing You are doing here MGM Count Me in !! This is not just a recent thought for me I Live in a hurricane prone area and any natural or man made emergency can happen at any time . Remember it will happen very quickly ! I think it is very wise to be prepared to Stay"" we call that hunker Down "" or to leave and in some cases you are made to leave and it can be on very short Notice . YOU will not have time to run all over and gather the items you need . SO Have them together in something ready to go quickly . I will be making suggestions to this group and hope all y'all will do the same we can all learn from each other.

    Thanks, MGM! I have been in the eye of a tornado and at the epicenter of an Earthquake, so you would think I should be prepared. But alas, other than cabinet latches and securing some bookcases, I'm not very prepared.

    If any where is hit by a Nuclear Weapon - all of us will be burnt to a cinder - fried... bones only. If you don't believe me get ahold of the Department of Defense and see what they tell
    you. It ain't pretty. No humans; no plant life;
    contaminated soil; No birds; animals; containated
    air. This is serious and I don't want to joke
    about this!!! You Think you can run - But the
    radiation will find & kill you. THERE IS NO
    PREPARING FOR IT... There's no bomb shelter!
    The gas seeps through the ground and into
    concrete... If anyone attacks us - we're all dead. This is From A General in the Canadian
    Army!!!

    What I got for my survival is my flashlights and my shortwave radios, and scanners. I also have food, but the problem is that when you are on a food stamp program, they only give you food stamps for only a month. I have no clue what do about food I live in a apartment with Tina, I have been binging at the end of the month drinking water. I don't know if I will survive. It's great you people own houses and everything, and have food well stocked up, and things that I don't have. Sorry about me.
