Nobel Prize-Winning Physicist Resigns Over Global Warming

Dr. Ivar Giaever, a former professor with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the 1973 winner of the Nobel Prize in physics, abruptly announced his resignation Tuesday, Sept. 13, from the premier physics society in disgust over its officially stated policy that "global warming is occurring."

Our governor in TN is one of those nuts. I look for him to sign away our rights (what's left of them) here in TN sooner or later.

A federal court threw out a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency rule aimed at cutting pollution from coal-fired power plants, dealing a blow to the Obama administration’s efforts to curb harmful emissions.

The U.S. Court of Appealsin Washington in a 2-1 ruling today struck down the EPA’s cross-state air pollution rule, saying the agency illegally imposed federal authority over state air pollution programs. The court sided with more than three dozen challengers to the measure, which caps emissions in more than two dozen states. The rule had been put on hold by the court in December while it considered the regulation’s legality.

“It is not our job to set environmental policy,” Circuit Judge Brett Kavanaugh wrote in the 60-page opinion. “Our limited but important role is to independently ensure that the agency stays within the boundaries Congress has set. EPA did not do so here.”

The nature of the recently released report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is extremely alarmist. The report warns, with a 95% certainty, that global warming is man-made and that the resulting  climate change will lead to:

• Rising temperatures, drought and increasing desertification
• Warming of the oceans and rising sea levels
• Shortages of food
• Loss of ice sheets & shrinking of glaciers
• Increasing intensity and size of storms

There’s no doubt our climate is changing, but are the charges the IPCC is making correct? Are the global climate changes we’re experiencing man-made or part of earth’s natural climate cycle?

Let’s take a look under the ‘hood’ of ‘man-made’ global warming.

Fact - The Earth's climate has been continuously changing throughout its history. From ice covering large amounts of the globe to interglacial periods where there was ice only at the poles - our climate and biosphere has been in flux for millennia.

”it somehow wasn’t front-page news that committed believers in man-made global warming recently admitted there’s been no surface global warming for well over a decade and maybe none for decades more. Nor did we see warmists conceding that their explanation is essentially a confession that the previous warming may not have been man-made at all.

That admission came in a new paper by prominent warmists in the peer-reviewed journal Climate Dynamics. They not only conceded that average global surface temperatures stopped warming a full 15 years ago, but that this “pause” could extend into the 2030s.

Mind you, the term “pause” is misleading in the extreme: Unless and until it resumes again, it’s just a “stop.” You don’t say a bullet-ridden body “paused” breathing.

Remarkably, that stoppage has practically been a state secret. Just five years ago, the head of the International Panel on Climate Change, the group most associated with “proving” that global warming is man-made and has horrific potential consequences, told Congress that Earth is running a “fever” that’s “apt to get much worse.” Yet he and IPCC knew the warming had stopped a decade earlier…

The single most damning aspect of the “pause” is that, because it has occurred when “greenhouse gases” have been pouring into the atmosphere at record levels, it shows at the very least that something natural is at play here. The warmists suggest that natural factors have “suppressed” the warming temporarily, but that’s just a guess: The fact is, they have nothing like the understanding of the climate that they claimed (and their many models that all showed future warming mean nothing, since they all used essentially the same false information).

Here we go... will we be seeing a Global Carbon Tax in the near future? It is looking that way. The sky will certainly fall if we don't pay our dues... the UN says so ;) What a load of BS!!!

The National Institute of Scientific Research in Brussels has identified global warming to be a significant contributor to erectile dysfunction.  Dr. Alfvin Schwartz, chief of the study, said:

No link here, just a thought. It seems, based on most of what I've read on this subject, it's human caused. However, when u really start to dig, is it not possible that it's nothing more than this rock called Earth going through it's natural cycles? The only problem is that the "powers that be" (they know what's up) decided to make a "cash cow" of it! I mean, look at all the Sun ejections, the strange planet alignments, the earthquakes, the rains,... you only gotta ask yourself...IS THERE A GOD?...That's a whole other subject. Researcher: NASA hiding climate data

NASA and CRU data are considered the backbone of much of the science that suggests the earth is warming due to manmade greenhouse gas emissions. NASA argues its data suggests this decade has been the warmest on record.

On the other hand, data from the University of Alabama-Huntsville suggests temperatures have been relatively flat for most of this decade.

NASA-Funded Group Doctors Sea Level Data

The NASA-funded group claims glacial melt is removing weight that had been pressing down on land masses, which in turn is causing land mass to rise. This welcome news mitigates sea-level rise from melting glacial ice, meaning sea level will rise less than previously thought. However, it is very inconvenient for alarmist sea level predictions. Therefore, instead of reporting the amount by which sea level is rising in the real world, the Sea Level Research Group has begun adding 0.3 millimeters per year of fictitious sea level rise to “compensate” for rising land mass.

I really like the point that was made; funding only one side of the argument - the side of the 'warmist' - it is, what has been happening, and only toward their real agenda; taxing us even more.

You can't make this shit up. TPTB are still on the Global Warming march while the earth is obviously cooling. I don't know about anyone else but it sure hasn't gotten any warmer where I reside. Summers have become shorter and winters have become longer. Oh the joy!!!

But this is really all about another money grab anyway. All we need to do is pay our carbon credits like the good little serfs that we are and global warming will disappear. Al Gore approves ;)
