    Re: Burqas...I don't think it's Sarkozy's place to ban them esp if a woman truly wants to wear one and is not being forced by someone else to do so.  I think the veil, head scarf and hijab are feminine but the burqa is a somewhat oppressive and unhealthy.  They must be terribly hot in the summer and how can a woman get her Vitamin D if she's covered head to toe?
