Definition of deceit according to Oklahoma state law, to wit 76OS3.3:

“A deceit…is…:

The suppression of a fact by one …who gives information of other facts which are likely to mislead for want of communication of that fact…”

icetrout: The very concept of gods violates every metaphysical principle that reality is based upon. In order for gods of any kind to exist, magic must be real. As lifeforms, gods are, literally, "magickind."

Just as science cannot be voted into truth by a group of people, so the existence of gods cannot be voted into existence by a group of people, no matter how large that group is.

There is NO "first cause." Rights derive NOT from Divine law but from the law of identity; man is man. If there is anything “causal” about that then please point it out to me.

Here is a definition of a right:

A right is a moral principle defining and sanctioning a man’s range of activity in a social environment and this right principle is that a man must never initiate the use of physical force in human interactions.

Rights are a requirement for conceptual beings to interact with each other using reason, their natural absolute tool of survival.

First of all, there is NO “first cause.” Second: Even if there was then it doesn’t, does NOT, require self knowledge. Consciousness is that faculty which perceives that which exists. In order for consciousness to exist there must be something pre-existing consciousness for that consciousness to be conscious of. Existence can exist without consciousness yet consciousness can NOT exist without existence, due to its very definition.

Further, this is demonstrable by noting that the statement “Existence exists” is axiomatic. It is axiomatic because it must be accepted and acknowledged as true even when attempting to DIS-prove it.

This inference is false, based on a false premise. It is a contradiction. It is a contradiction because it says your NON-existent “first cause” is intelligent, even though your logic attempting to prove the same clearly contradicts the evidence of the senses and relies only on your imagination and emotive whim.

It is also a contradiction because it says  “we must heed (Worship?)” even though there is NOTHING to “heed." This comment by you is nothing but a lame attempt to rationalize that magic exists and trumps science, that reality is a haunted house. You faithists, rejectors of reason are all the same in this fundamental regard."

Did I say “camp?” A better word would be “horde”…or “herd.”

Every argument for God and every attribute ascribed to Him rests on a false metaphysical premise. None can survive for a moment on a correct metaphysics.

Is God the creator of the universe? There can be no creation of something out of nothing. There is no nothing.

Is God omnipotent? Can he do anything? Entities can act only in accordance with their natures; nothing can make them violate their natures.

“God” as traditionally defined is a systematic contradiction of every valid metaphysical principle. The point is wider than just the Judeo-Christian concept of God. No argument will get you from this world to a supernatural world. No reason will lead you to a world contradicting this one. No method of inference will enable you to leap from existence to a “super-existence.”

 

You claim that you perceive a mode of being superior to my existence on this earth. The mystics of spirit call it “another dimension,” which consists of denying dimensions. To exist is to possess identity. What identity are you able to give to your superior realm? You keep telling me what it is not, but never tell you what it is. All your identifications consist of negating: God is that which no human mind can know, you say—and proceed to demand that I consider it knowledge—God is non-man, heaven is non-earth, soul is non-body, virtue is non-profit, A is non-A, perception is non-sensory, knowledge is non-reason. Your definitions are NOT acts of defining, but of wiping out."

Sheriff Mack lost my endorsement when he endorsed Mitt Romney for President "because we need to get Obama out of there at all costs," as if Romney would be any different. If Mack is so gung-ho about the law and what is right and wrong, he could very easily have arrested Obama.

Also, Mack turned his back on Ron Paul and refused to point out how Romney's people physically attacked Paul's people in the primaries.

Also, Mack refuses to define what a right is. He is from the "rights are a gift from God" camp. Not only is that NOT a definition of any kind, but it requires rights to have a magical non-causal element that is only imaginary.
