Comment by Parrhesia on September 22, 2019 at 12:38pm: Alex Daube: I don't know the laws for all 50 states, but federal law allows the ownership of bazookas (listed under "destructive devices" in their codes). I understand there is heavy regulation and it's not cheap. It has to be registered with ATF as a Destructive Device, along with each piece of ammunition. From what I can find it costs $200 for a tax stamp for the bazooka itself (not including the cost of the bazooka) and $200 tax stamp for every shell, including about a one year wait period to fulfill the process. I would suggest you check the laws in your state.

Actually, US citizens are allowed to have a bazooka (depending on the state) or a tank. Wonder if his head will explode if he finds out.
